What's the SINGLE best show you've ever seen? For me, it's Pink Floyd.

John Fogerty last night. Eric Clapton, Journeyman Tour many years ago. Kiss, first reunion tour with Peter and Ace. Obviously could not single out just one, but maybe Fogerty.

Phil Collins did that as well. Phil is in my Top 5 shows.

It is not possible to pick one best, I have seen so many great ones including:

Led Zepplin (Zepplin II tour, 1970) my first concert.
The Who 4 times (first one 1973, Who's Next and Quadrophenia)
Little Feat 1978 (these guys were totally overlooked and underrated, Lowell George was still alive)
Eagles 1994 (Hell Freezes over tour)
    Rolling Stones (2008)
    Billy Joel (amazing in 2014)
Paul McCartney (also amazing in 2014)
    Genesis ~1994
    Springsteen.......

    Still on the bucket list:
    David Gilmour or Roger Waters
AC/DC (if they still got it)
    U2
Clapton (though I have heard he is not much as an entertainer)

My folks went to see Billy Joel when he was touring with Elton John.  I bet they would say that was their top.

I would have loved to have seen Floyd in their prime, or just at all really.  Floyd and Zeppelin got me through the desert that was rock and roll in the eighties.

Chris Ledoux after a rodeo.  It was out of this world fantastic.  I've seen a lot of big names.  None compared.

Here's a twist on this question. The most awkward concert was John Mellencamp @ Irvine Meadows. My gf and I were sitting first row. When the lights went down, I noticed from Mellencamp's vantage point he could only see two rows into the crowd. The whole night he looked right at us. Square in the eye. It was at times very uncomfortable ... I mean it was cool getting a 'private' show ... but I'd never experienced something like that.

This was my favorite concert. I saw them on my 21st birthday at County Stadium. I got carded in the beer line and then the entire beer line sang happy birthday to me. It was a blast.

Kiss, first reunion tour with Peter and Ace.
Even though my date stood me up, that had to be one of the best shows ever (I'm not even that much into KISS).  And it was REALLY cool to leave the stadium and see a lunar eclipse, the Moon was blood-red!

Two other greats were Billy Joel, and Todd Rundgren/Utopia (also the loudest show I've ever seen).  Best non-rock show: Chick Corea Elektric Band, omg!!!

Bucket list:  still haven't seen Steely Dan...

Ok. I'm ready to be flamed and laughed at: let me say I like all music. Been to over a hundred concerts. Seen buffet 24 times. But the best ever....Willie Nelson at Chastain Park in Atlanta in 2000. Someone gave me tickets at the last minute. Swmbo and I said "why not". Loved Willie ever since.

Worst ever...Dave Mathews, same year. And I really like his music.
    Fish, Hunt, Cook....anything else?

@ksmyrl- I got to see Willie a couple of times back in the 70's. I'm still a huge fan. I actually got to meet him in 1998. Him and Stephen Pearcy (lead singer of RATT) were in Anchorage, AK. campaigning to legalize pot. I happened to be working there at the time. He is actually a very down to earth person. You will get no flaming from me, I'm a fan as well.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
