Things are picking up. Turns out the heat pump was a simple (and cheap) relay.  The email drill after all kinds of computer troubleshooting was on the provider's end.  Now fixed.  So, number three is lurking but I'm enjoying some adult beverages before moving on to rocket fuel.
Email on Yahoo? My BT address is on their server and it crapped out this afternoon (UK afternoon). Did troubleshooting then searched for Yahoo service problems ........

A couple chuckies waiting to be pulled. Making some pepper stout beef today so I can bring it over to my friends house tomorrow for the Daytona 500.

They had spare ribs for $1.99/lb at the local grocery store. I cut them down to St Louies. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it as my sister is bringing lasagna over tonight. I figured I didn't need to have a reason for a $7 rack of ribs. I guess it's just a bonus

You've got it.  Timing is spot-on.  Wish I woulda looked at them first but the kicker was that I could send anything and receive nothing.  That lead me to look inward.  It was a bit early to hold reveille on a few others I know who use the same provider.  Once I cleared the heat pump deal I failed to circle back to them thus I wasted a good hour resulting in nothing fixed.  But all's well that ends well, I guess.
BTW once I looked to Yahoo the UK outage issues were top dead center.  Live and learn.

We spent a delightful afternoon in beautiful Savannah with @Jeremiah and his family.  Totally unexpected get together.  Drinking beer, swapping lies along the riverfront was most excellent.  Glad you texted me brother.

Really not minding this snow for some reason. Probably because I don't have a work meeting tomorrow morning. Wednesday it'll be 75* and sunny here, and tomorrow it'll be 49*. 3-6" of snow overnight while I'm home putting butts and brisket on the XXL, I can deal with.

Honing up on my knot tying. I haven’t tied a Monkey Fist in over 20 years. This one turned out decent I thought. I did not use a ball or ball bearing to start it. I did it the old fashion way, a simple slip knot in the rope.

My ribs were a complete failure. Worst ribs ever, and I've made some bad ones. I thought I could salvage a total of a rack, the other two went straight into the garbage outside. The other salvaged part was horrible. Grizzly will eat them over the next few days, he thought they were excellent  :o

It looks like the temp spiked, and it caramelized and burned some sugar I put on them when I wrapped. Spiked from 265ish to around 350.... Never had the temp spike that much before, and didn't have the lid open very long. Oh well, not the first debacle and probably not the last.

Well dang, lesson learned. Don't drink and watch the forum when you are cooking something new with some unknown ingredients. Had the temp solid at 350 and when I got done looking at this evenings posts, looked up and the temp had spiked to 400. Learned what was in the chicken mignons, stuffing which came apart when I tried to move them around on the grate. Getting ready to remove:
    Plated pictures.
Large tongs kept the thing from coming apart altogether.

SWMBO said the stuffing was bland and chicken was dry. Live and learn.

I am throttling back my comments in deference to this thread, but NBC Olympics coverage had two strikes down a few days ago and is now out.  This includes their "on-line" offerings and cottage channels, all of which create vacuums.  You would think that an adult beverage drinking olympic sport like men's curling would get at least live coverage somewhere, but nope.
Definitely first world issues but a totally clueless company running the asylum. F them and all associated.
