That's pretty cool...I've been trying to catch a bear on my "in town" trail cam.  I know they have been up the creek behind the house, I just can't catch one on camera.

Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

We see it a few times a week, my wife inadvertently got within 3 ft of it once, it was on the far side of a bush and she didn't see it.  It is a big one, about the size of a small coyote.

I keep a close eye on my JRTs when they are outside.  The claws will do a nasty bit on them.

What is the price on that bear? I see the tags but can't read them

Is that off your deck? That would freak me out!

I have a good size electric fence charger, just need time to put it up on my wall.  The 'yotes have got my jack twice already. One pushed her up the yard to a corner and a second came over right on top of her.  Luckily I had my pool cleaning pole close and whacked it good, that was at 10am in full sun.

MiniMax cook tonight - raised direct boneless pork chops.
Arbosana EVO from Chile and Lane's Signature rub at 350 degrees. Pulled off at 160 internal.

Rice pilaf and beets for the sides. Chop was moist and tender.

A neighbor who lives about 2 miles away stopped by. She had a tumor in her brain 4 months ago. She had a 12 hour surgery while conscious as the doctors asked her to move fingers and toes and talk as they removed the mass. She was always a nice person, and now appreciates everything and everyone even more than before. She remembered a year or so ago that I said I liked gin. She was at the store today, saw this bottle, and said she thought of me so she bought it. She tried to drop it off at the door without being noticed, but the driveway alarm alerted us.
In this day and age it is good to know there are still some really really nice/good people in the world.

Very cool! Glad she survived.  It is nice to read a positive story these days.

Doing my first overnight brisket with flameboss 300. I know I know my set up is hillbilly. But that’s how I got my nickname at work. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the brisket before I put it on.

That is exactly how I cover my fan.  Meatloaf tray works great.  Blizzards, downpours, wind.  Made it through it all.
