My wife cooked last night. She made an amazing stew that we thoroughly enjoyed. Then she forgot and left it sitting out on the counter all night... Dammit.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Gonna fire mine up for some simple cherry smoked lovable loser chili dogs later.
-30 with the WC doesn't slow you down. Lol
Discovered this morning, Malcolm's double glove trick works great at cleaning/prepping your egg.
Had to unfreeze my lid as I left it uncovered when I went to Florida. Your gonna have to steam them bad boys for the authentic presentation. I suppose grilled will be even better though.
As for the clean and prep, just try not to get frostbite. Lol. Happy new year!

Ribs turned out ok. Cooked a bit faster than the cheap Kroger ones. Kids and their friends will make light work of them

Made a big batch of turkey stock, now I’m going to have to rearrange the freezer so it can be stored.

My dad stopped by and dropped of a new jack for me. I just finished putting it together. (I was constantly borrowing his when in need. He has a nice Craftsman jack that unfortunately sprung a hydraulic leak a few years ago. No replacement parts can be bought to fix the issue. It still works but needs to be filled everytime and is good for only a couple days. That doesn't fly for my dad. He likes his tools in perfect running order. So he went and bought a new jack)
You're probably thinking, wow that was nice of him buying you a new jack. Which is 100% percent correct. Except he's turning the tables on me. I now get to store the jack and he gets to borrow it whenever he needs one. In my already tight two car garage. It's just a matter of time before his jack stands end up in my garage. I'm not sure if I won getting a new jack or not?

My dad has been super helpful with tools and borrowing them to me to work on the house. Every once in awhile I'll get a call asking if I have a certain tool of his at the house. He'll come down and visit and grab the tool he needs. I'll try giving back other tools I borrowed from him with the one tool he needed but I usually get, "Keep those here, you might need to use those again." I know exactly what he's doing. I get to keep storing them. Funny part is that I sneak them back into the garage/shop without him knowing. So I do win every once in awhile!"The pig is an amazing animal. I'm not a fan of these white steel wheels. I don't mind the rim itself but the white has to go. I'd love to get some different wheels but with them being a zero offset 4.5 × 5 there isn't very much for alternatives. So I'm looking to Plasti Dip them and hide the white and give them an extra coat of protection from rust.
Do I just stay basic with some basic black or do I go with something a little more crazy? Plasti Dip peels off when done. So nothing permanent. Just a quick mock up what it could maybe look like. Let's say Agree button for Black and Like button for Green?
Sorry this is kind of lame. Just more less entertaining myself.
