Beef ribs found buried in the deep freeze. Low slow and football! And my dumb a$$ finger in the way.

Pork butt on - mostly for the smell ambiance. Prolly make some pulled pork soup with it later on.

Getting ready to watch the Astros hopefully beat the Sox and later the Texans give the Chiefs their first loss. As a Houston fan living in Nevada, I rarely get to watch my teams live.

"Enjoying?" a known adventure with Mother Nature ( not to down-play those dealing with Nate). The rains were predicted a couple of days earlier but I wanted to play with fire today. So, feeding the stick burner (around one every 15-20 mins) during a nice steady rain that has dumped around 3/4" in the past two hours. (BGE's are under a porch roof-but....)
Judgement not strong today, but I am definitely playing with fire. Oh, I am cooking some protein during this deal. Results TBD.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Saturday: snip the tips, rub with some DP and into the fridge. Sunday: Play 18 and get home by noon. Fire up the small and stabilize at 400, indirect. Wings on, 30/20 then brush with some Frank's for 10. Kick back and watch some NFL with some awesome wings. Just another beautiful day in Southern New Mexico!
