Did something somewhat different last night.

Prime Tri-Tip done kebab style with salt & pepper and finished with board sauce (but in a dish instead of a board. I loaded a couple of half oak logs in the bge and cranked it "to 11" with the dome open. Turned out really well. Nothing super special but easy way to do something different with 2lbs of steak.

I would belly up to that in a heart beat.

IA Penn St game was one of the best games I've seen in a while.

Josey Jewell and the IA D clamped down in the red zone, every time.  Saquon Barkley is unstoppable.  If healthy, he will get the Heisman.  350+ AP yards, stiff arms going OOB, his cuts, stops, hurdling DBs...had some flashbacks, I was a kid watching Sweetness.  The combination of power and speed is an absolute joy to watch.  Speaking of sweetness, had some leftover cookie dough, and scarfed this down during the game.

Yep, I would kill that! My cousin is the Iowa QB. Tough loss for him. They acquitted themselves extremely well though. Great heartbreaking game!
That is really cool Pete.  I'll root them on for that.

Knew they were in trouble punching it in so early with over a min and a half on the clock and TOs.
The hawks beat my daughters cyclones a couple weeks ago. Down to the wire. The win was far more important for Nate than it would have been for my daughter, it worked out for the best. It’s weird for me to root for the Hawkeyes, but family is family.
That was another epic game.  The patients on our unit were hootin' and hollerin', was a fun Sat duckin' in and out of rooms with the game on.

Our 2 eldest have been on a 3 week tour of Mexico, brought some chilli products back for us. And a silly hat for our youngest. Plus a bottle of unknown firewater.

Is it good? Never used it before. Our daughter's friend in Mexico city works in the family restaurant run by her father, this mole is from the kitchen there. They specialise in traditional Mexican cooking.

I'm just impressed they got through customs. I've seen "Canadian Border Security" on Netflix.

Oh yes. Smoke some chicken.  Make some pulled chicken enchiladas.  Smother with the mole and sprinkle with a few toasted sesame seeds if you want.  One of my favorites, hard to see it on the menu and not order it.
    Love you bro!

@Eoin you may need to thin or reconstitute that, I would check with your son or his friends on how to prepare what they gave you.

Sounds like a good plan. Got plenty of chicken in the fridge as well.

Truckport's 4 piece dark for lunch.

Then it was out to the field.
A cool cleaver I had to let walk.

$25 Grizzy #9 Tite Top, $15 #5 Wags unmarked, and $8 #5 Lodge.  The two skillets will be gifts.  Didn't have the heart to dicker.  A good day in the wild.
