@Jeremiah - Bourbon and Beyond had campgrounds for the event. It was a really cool set up.

It will be a great weekend for it. We are doing a big dinner this weekend, then heading to Nashville for work. AND AS A SPECIAL BENEFIT.......Suzy and I are going to catch David Gray and Allison Krause at the Ryman, I think...

Finally cool enough outside for some deep frying.  The Youtube link is a cool drag race, for those that are interested in super cars.

Been storing some weight equipment for a friend. She is opening her gym now and I get a garage stall back.  We are very excited for her.

@Legume, I had researched forever. When I finally made my decision, they were out of stock on the stainless model. Patience paid off and months later, they had them available. Toaster ovens don't usually have a good track record according to the reviews, but I decided to take a chance. So far, so good. I like it a lot. Love the doors too. Also, it's the only one that had a light besides the Breville, which has it's share of bad reviews.

Didn't do a complete strip, I doubt the Wags #5 was ever used.  Gave this exact same pan last month to a buddy.  He won't stop talking about how much nicer it is compared to his Lodge stuff.  :)

Just a good scrub with Dawn, BKF, and the Ringer.  The Griswold DO is bada$$, really light compared to the others.  That Erie foundry was something magical.  Was able to leave the roached(carbonized) tabs alone for a rustic look.  Looking forward to some pot roast or chili soon.

@Focker The griz around here dried up a few years back - I frequent sales etc, but haven't seen a single one in at least a couple years. That DO is like glass!

Same here.  That was the first Griswold DO I have seen in the wild.  Most in antiques shops, know the name, and price skillets full retail and beyond, regardless of condition, just by that alone.  Some prices I have seen are laughable.  River Bend Antiques here in Davenport, IA, a perfect example.  That's why most of the pans I have bagged lately are Sidneys or unmarked Wags.  When reaching for the tag I was expecting to see a higher price.  Got a little giddy when I saw $25. Lol

Griswold is in a league of its own IMO.  Light, smooth, even the lettering and logos are cool.  Wagner is close.

Ha! If it had a lid, it would have been 300 bucks on some Etsy shop.

    LOL, I know!
Saw a nice lid on fleabay today for $50 plus shipping.  Idk if I'll even bother.  May just use foil.  A lid would complete it as a collector though.  Having a hard time, paying double, for the damn lid.

One advantage of living in Utah.  Ordered some open box pops for gifts about 8:30 am pans paid for the cheap 3-5 day shipping.  Had tracking info in an hour and should have them in hand tomorrow.  Bravo thermoworks.
