@JohnInCarolina - Haven't been back to Montreal in a few decades but grew up around 75 km's south just over the line in upstate NY.  I do believe you can still hurt yourself.  Old Town used to be quite the section of the city.  Have fun and enjoy the unique groceries.

Kind've a sad day, I sold my first motorcycle, a 2007 Yamaha FZ-6, in faster blue.  Bought Her 10 years and 10 days ago.  

 
I wanted to do more touring, and can sit on my beemer for 8 hours/day, but arthritis and a 37" inseam gets pretty sore after only 90 minutes on the sportbike's limited legroom.  Don't really have the space to keep both (She's still a blast running up and down the canyons) so time to thin the herd.

Franken may be a comedian from SNL, but that guy is sharp.  He's a cum laude graduate from Harvard, majored in government.  

Kid Rock is... well... a different breed.  

@JohnInCarolina you're forgetting that Donald Trump "the celebrity apprentice" just won the presidency (and best out maybe the worst democrat possible) so it seems that anything goes recently.

How do you get on with  the standard screen on the GS if you're tall? That was the first thing I changed on my GS because of the wind buffeting. Got some lower pegs too - would suit your inseam!

Lot of great food to be had. Lamb is awesome there. Smithwicks (or as I had been corrected in pronunciation "Smittics") is delicious out of the tap.
