In Dublin and it's bed time.  Was going to be good, but went out with the brother in law and had a few pints then needed some food at the hotel and got talking to a guy at the bar over a couple (or more) of Powers.  End result is that it is 12:30 and I have a taxi booked to take me to the airport at 6:30. I hope the headache isn't too bad, but I'm not optimistic.

Caveman'd (SBGE for perspective) a Trader Joe's Tri-Tip after a poor man's hot tub to around 105*F.  Grain pattern a little different on this one.  And I missed the finish temp by around 5*F.

Made some poke chops. They were good.  Nothing fancy.

With some fingerling potatoes, and vegetable medley (zucchini, onion, bell pepper).

Thanks Jason and Johnny. Kind of trying to digest the news myself. They found a large mass on the back of my knee. I have to get another MRI, and then depending on what they find, is what I have to deal with. The mass was in contact with nerves and blood vessels. So that is it for now. We will see what happens and deal with it as we move forward. I am ok.

Your kindness is appreciated. It really means a lot.
This is likely nothing to worry about, at least that is the way I am taking it, until proven otherwise.
Then we deal with it as needed, and move on. And we will move on.

Might have been a better option, going through an airport while sobering up after too little sleep wasn't great. Anne picked me up and I've now had a large Full English in a cafe and feel nearly human again.

Dang @YukonRon! I know you were looking for a clean bill of health on that knee. Hopefully, it's nothing to be worried about and all will turn out fine. I'm sure it sounded scary, but the medical profession can work wonders these days. Thoughts and prayers for you and Suzy.

    Gearing up for another mission.

This is absolutely one of those events, that makes your heart swell with pride, because it shows the world there is still much more right with our country and our people, than is wrong. My first experience was a few years ago. Have to admit, my eyes got a little moist.
I did it on my birthday, July 4, and met one of the nurses left behind in the Phillipines on March 11, 1942, while McArthur escaped.
Real American Hero. Captured, and cared for the sick and wounded, nearly starved to death, and survived until liberated.
I can't begin to tell you how unworthy I felt in her presence.

Outside of @bgebrent, I have some of the best in the business here in Louisville. I am not the worrying type, just disappointed my try for three summits in August, is not likely to happen. Such is life.
Thank you for the kindness, we appreciate it more than you know.

Dang @YukonRon As you have in the past, deal with it straight-up and let the experts do their thing.  You have got this and I'm with @bgebrent on the therapeutic value of the slushes.  Take no prisoners.

No quarter asked, none given. I just feel awful for Suzy right now. She is still dealing with the loss of her mother and brother, and now has this thrown on her plate. She is going through a lot.
Thanks for the kind words. No prisoners.
