@Acn - you have not been married too long...I would rather a root canal than go shopping with SWMBO.  But whatever works...glad for the beer preparation.
@lousubcap - it'll be 11 years later this month.  It really isn't too bad, I chill with the kid until I need to zip the dress.

Currently I'm waiting on breakfast - best bagels in the DC/Baltimore metro area, with nova, cream cheese, lettuce, onion, and caper

Got some shorties cruising on the max and a butt turboing to a finish on the Large. Was expecting a wash out on the diamond today and having all day to cook. Wound up playing, but alas an early demise.

Many years ago I bought an end table for the patio, steel legs, and a ceramic/tile top, fairly heavy-duty, at Target.  Last winter I accidently left it out on the porch, and the freeze/thaw cycle loosened the tiles and they started falling out.
Today I went to Target to see what they had now.  They had almost the same thing for $29, and damn, this chinese-made table is built like a tank!  Heavy steel or iron tube legs, smooth welds with 1/8" crossbars, what appears to be powdercoating, swivelling feet; the top is just like my old table (don't leave it out in the winter, dummy!).
Really well-built and heavy; I'm posting this as one of my pet peeves in life is all the junk we have available to purchase, it's nice to find something built well, even if it is made in China.

Went to Texas De Brazil last night. First time and it was amazing. Just now waking up from my meat coma. Highly recommend going if you have one nearby. In the middle of dinner there was a Vegan protester that tried to disturb the service. They promptly got shouted down by all the customers as a chant of "WE EAT MEAT!" Broke out. It was glorious.

This is what I am doing now.

Reeling from an expensive week - two full AC systems that need to be replaced and daughter got engaged.  Yikes.  Thankfully I only have to pony up for the AC immediately.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Lots of baseball for sure, but man, this up & down season is rough.  Hate getting swept.

Brother and family in town. Had to replicate plus John's CPdC.

Was working too hard getting all the proteins on time to photo much. (Chicken breast and bacon wrapped filet in addition). The L pulled most of the weight.

No plates and it looks like last weekend. Only difference was wine selection and desert. Decadent and very much enjoyed by all.
