Still smarting from Schwarbers grand slam.  I bet @Focker and @pgprescott are loving it though.

Honor Flight meeting, 3 fellow RNs I work with are guardians, one I precepted.  Vets are from USS Vancouver, and a Marine Airwing Fire Rescue...both top notch guys.

Zipped out to Aledo, IL for their Rhubarb Festival.  Every small town here has their big weekend, Watermelon, Strawberry, etc.

Dad and I got the last two bottles of strawberry rhubarb wine.  Aledo has the oldest Tastee Freeze, nice small town.  They blow through over 3500 pies over the weekend, and were out everywhere we went by the time I made it out, but scored from a nice gentleman who bussed us to the Methodist Church basement for two rhubarbs at $13 ea.  My pie was nothing compared to this.
Then we caught a golfcart ride back to the bandshell with some blues.

Found a 1999 Upper Deck Lift-Off plate that struck a special nerve at their garage sale, dickered down to 4.  Found a nice old SS flex spatula, and was proud of myself for putting down a good Wags Sidney for 5 bones. Lol

Funnel cakes rock, good choice by the boy.

Off for some aromatherapy at the campground with one of my brothers, who just lost his Dad from cancer, helluva guy.

Cool!  Thought you were a baby bear fan.

Regardless of your fanhood, the honor guard stuff is top notch!  Very impressed the time and energy you dedicate to the worthy cause.

Loving it! @Focker not so much.  Cards have been good medicine.

Meh, talk to me about your whoas in about 75 years and we'll start worrying about things. I have a feeling your organization will be just fine in the long run.

@Acn - you have not been married too long...I would rather a root canal than go shopping with SWMBO.  But whatever works...glad for the beer preparation.

Thanks much Oz, but I just cut them a check, take a couple of days of PTO, and have a bucket list top tier day.  This QC hub is such a blessing to be a part of, so much work behind the scenes 365....a well oiled machine.  B)

I feel like I owe it to these guys, and gals, to get them out to DC and back safely, my mission, along with helping my onc patients and their fams.

It's been raining for 4 straight days here and I'm pretty much stuck indoors. Thought that I would experiment.

@SGH -  given your penchant for cruising the house nekked you are acutely aware that you can "only get so wet".  Somehow, the indoor option has got to be an out-lier.  Regardless, your experiment looks great.  All I can tell is that it does not appear to contain your most recent favorite orifice.  ;)

    Still not actually.

@DMW- that quantity is a known after the consumption.  You could mess with the calculations by rolling out the rocket fuel or some other liquid.  At least the fuel is all liquid... Degree of boost...

Damn, the markup would be AT LEAST 175%, and no one would notice the difference!   :o
