Every Fall we have an HOA Chili Cook Off. For the last 3 years we invite the Fireman to come and judge. We donate $100 gift card to the Fire House.

Just finished changing out my network switches. Old one had ports dropping out randomly. Now all my switches are 1gig!
Next up cleaning up all the cable spaghetti in the cabinet.

I have Concluded that no one works any more
(with the noted exceptions of those that multi-task between work and the forum). For the past several years I have burned a vacation day in early Dec, mid-week, to do some brick and mortar shopping. Not a pleasant experience.
Now that I am a card carrying member of the "every day is Saturday" crowd, I needed to pick up a few things from the local Costco (mainly a brisket or two) and did not pay attention to the date relative to Christmas. Big friggin mistake. I will do better in 2017.

@Aviator, yessir that is my wife's homemade pickled okra, along with some diced raw onion, mustard and hot sauce. Only way to make it better is if I had some slaw on hand.

Been trying to track down a leak behind the wall
found it... Now I have to see if my floors are salvageable
was as due to move in my house on Dec 24.. Has been a year long renovation (pay as I go ) and now it may be pushed back another month
On on the bright side, tile guys are making steady progress

I just came up with a money-makin' bumper sticker idea.
"My Other Cooler is a Yeti"
So you can put this on whatever cheap, practical cooler you own, but still look without spending mad money for the name brand. I think there's an analogy for this somewhere.
