My 10yr old snuck cards into all our stockings this morning and just presented them. Here's mine. Christmas complete for me.

Made some pizza dough this AM just separated for the final rise.

And cold smoked some cabbot white cheddar and some mozzarella for pizzas. Wife said today I should just keep the mini max so I think it's gonna stick around a little longer.

I was just out lighting up for a pizza cook. The neighbors opened up the window and yelled that it was too cold out for that !@#$! and laughed. Its up to -12 F right now.

Ribeye Steak Frites with a Cabernet reduction. Fries were homemade. Steak, potatoes and red wine in one dish... don't get much better than that.
The steak was leftover from last night. To reheat it, I threw it in the freezer for about 45 minutes and then seared it in some butter in a CI skillet over high heat. It reheated really well like that without overcooking the inside.

I guess they liked my Pecan Smoked Texas Red Chili!
Every Fall we have an HOA Chili Cook Off. For the last 3 years we invite the Fireman to come and judge. We donate $100 gift card to the Fire House.
And once again I managed to take home the hardware! It was close this year as I had to win the tie breaker!!

Aldi's Appleton Farms Jalapeno Bacon smoked inspection, recieving my highest "fire a$$" bacon rating, surpassing Berkwood's Jalapeno Bacon.

The kicker was scrambling the eggs in the leftover jalapeno bits and flavored grease...over the top.
If you like moderately warm, flavorful heat, throw this fire a$$ hog in your cart.
