@DoubleEgger sweet ride had a buddy in highschool had a 69 with a 327 30 over if I recall. Long time ago. That thing was badass until he sent a rod thru the oil pan.
I had that in mind when I rebuilt mine. I didn't push the edge as the block is matching numbers to the car.
Race ya for pink slips youngster...  Nice car brother!
Let me drop in a ZZ572 and then we'll talk.
If you're wanting to keep it factory, one of my coworkers has a set of camel back heads he's practically giving away. Again, nice car man.
Thanks. Not keeping it stock. Stock is no fun driving around Atlanta. Added an electric fuel pump, insulated lines, pressure regulator etc.

Reading up on how to photograph the aurora borealis. If I can get just one good shot, I will be happy as I am anything but a photographer.

@DoubleEgger. You know it!  I have been past due! Sitting at the airport now. Ticket in hand and through security.

What is the consensus? Separate thread or no? I sense a lot of seafood meals being able to be posted.

I left work and was walking to my car in the rain.  I thought about all you peeps that needed it and hoped it would hit your area.

A lot easier with digital nowadays, where you can check each shot as they're taken.  Use your widest glass, f2.8, ISO 800, set camera to "Bulb" and try different shots between 15 and 45 seconds, adjust as needed.  Tripod or other solid surface, of course.
I entered a calendar contest in 1994 or so, a shot of the AB reflected in a (not-yet-frozen) pond just west of Grand Forks, ND.  Was cold but that meant no mosquitoes.  Out of 1,500 entries, mine was one of the dozen chosen, and I got $100 (only photo I've been paid for)!  The "1995 Scenic North Dakota" calendar wasn't a worldwide best-seller  =) but I was still pretty happy about it.
    Good luck!

@Botch. Thanks. That is what I have read, so I am glad that an award-winning, paid photographer has restated and confirmed those same settings. Wish I understood histograms, (I do a bit, but not enough).  They say it is most important to understand them.  Oh well.
All I want is one decent shot.  We have a guy lined up to teach us some more and said he will assist us in taking pictures.

Lets hope for a clear night for that "one picture".
