Cubs win! Cubs win!  Now I can go to bed!
I turned it off when the Cubs went up 7-6. I had had enough....needed my sleep.
I know!  It was rough.  Staying up till 9:45 pm.  Phew.  I manned up and made it.

You have no idea.  This project is certainly one that I both love and hate doing at the same time.

Completing my annual enrollment and shaking my head.  Insurance gets higher and covers less every year.
Our POTUS-TU is more worried about having the Cubs visit, than rising insurance premiums, and the utter failure of his "affordable" health care.

In good news, my screening came back, BP, fasting glucose, and lipid panel was tight.  Waist measurement needs a little work, 5 inches.  Bring on the bacon!

No sir, it did not. I certainly wish that it would have though. The Blue Lodge, the York Rites, Scottish Rites, and the Shrine has had a rough past few years.

Big difference from what I paid when I first went to work where I'm at and where it's at now.  I pay more for two weeks now than what I paid all year when I first went to work there and much worse now.

If helping others in need, and volunteer work "interferes" with your family time, freemasonry isn't for you.

My heath care is like homeowners insurance.  Only helps in major disasters, and the deductible is brutal.

That's it in a nutshell.  Great analogy.  I'm scared to go to the doctor, me personally.  My little girl, different story.  I'll send her when she needs it, but I need to be around too.

@Focker ...  I Probably could have used a better choice of words...

Im involved in church and do a lot of "probono " work for farmers in my community.. So I'm not against it. But was meaning after I spend 60 hrs a week at my real job. Then doing farm calls etc..

I need to to make some time for them

Life is all a balance.  I understood your intention.  One has to make choices with their time.  My family is first on my time list.

I've got a dear friend, who refers to my son, as her adopted grandson.  Life is balance, and not only your own bloodline, in my work.

Ever notice how a 1/4-lb hamburger sounds so much more substantial than a 4-oz hamburger?

I hear ya!  I use "family" for all my close friends, not just blood :)
