Just did ab ripper x or maybe I should say I tried to do it. I couldn't finish any of the sets and got light headed. Sitting up on the couch to get my drink isn't the exercise I thought it was.

Speaking of.......We start building the Elixer of the Gods next week. Hope they make it until Sunday at 5 pm, the time the boil officially starts serving up. Alligator and crab cheese cakes with smoked mushrooms are also on the menu according the the chef, Cap'n Scott.

Just got home and settled in from Durham.  My wife finished her AIG (academically and intellectually gifted) add-on to her teaching license from Duke University and they held a nice ceremony for all the teachers.   It was tough rolling up in there, but proud of my wife.

Took a few pictures while there.  Would be good except for the lift in the background.  Didn't feel like removing it yet.  Will likely later on though.

As we are looking forward to seeing you and Nicole. Thank you for the offer to help, we should be ok, I think.
Most folks start showing up throughout the day on Sunday. The 5pm is a target, for the chef. He never hits it.
Need help killing the keg, so arrive whenever you want. 
Saturday, will be setting up, and folks will likely will come over for liver stretching prep, and if the weather cooperates, cranking up the fire pit both nights.
Everyone is welcome to the event, there will be plenty.
I plan on doing a brisket and a batch of chicken legs for those who do not want shrimp.
Lot of food, cold beer, and if we are lucky, Robin will bring his iPod. If not, you will have to listen to mine.
