Thats a lot of work, and then some jerk parked his porsche in front of the minivan while you took your picture!nolaegghead said:Clay bar, compound, wax. 8 hours.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Really true! You know what they say about the difference between a Porsche and a cactus - with the Porsche, the prick is on the inside.

Just got back from New Orleans for the weekend and am having a goose talking to my wife about how our egg is better for everything we ate this weekend except Raw oysters and deep fried shrimp.

Working from home tomorrow. Got a cinnamon apple stuffed chop and a broccoli cheddar stuffed chop for the MM for breakfast then my parents should be rolling through sometime in the afternoon so gonna throw on a couple chuck roasts for some sliced beef. Until then I'm drinking some larceny and ginger and have to scrape some grout lines here soon.

Praying to BBQ Gods for wisdom and guidance. They have yet to harken to my plea.

You're both right! But the combination, not so much. My mom made the cake and it rocks. Seagrams made the whiskey and it rocks as well.

Drinking some delicious and refreshing orange flavored mio water.
Also didn't use the egg tonight. SWMBO made homemade meatball subs inside. They were delicious too! LOL -

I've read his interviews. How did he have time to write a book!SGH said:Downloading Aaron Franklins new book on my ipad.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Been skimming through the book now for a little over 2 hours. For anyone expecting a cook book they probably will be disappointed. However for someone looking for some solid general information and a great description of Aaron's background, I give it 2 thumbs up. I recommend it to anyone wishing to expand their general understanding of smoking meat and smoker basics. I enjoyed it enough that I just ordered the actual book to compliment the electronic version.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I just started the book tonight and it's hard to put down. It's good to see that all Franklins hard work has paid off.Lg & MM BGE, Humphrey’s Battle Box | Palatine, Illinois

If you're comparing apples to apples, don't eat BBQ if you visit New Orleans. We have world-class technical and soul food cooked in kitchens, but we're not known for BBQ. When in Rome...Goose4u said:Just got back from New Orleans for the weekend and am having a goose talking to my wife about how our egg is better for everything we ate this weekend except Raw oysters and deep fried shrimp.

Back to work from a long weekend. Friday traveled to Ohio and came back Monday. Little over 900 miles just in traveling to and from.
Yesterday shoveled pine bark mulch in the front yard and made a new flower bed around the back deck. Mulched with pine needles there. Used my new little chainsaw to saw up some mess too.
I need a day off to recuperate from the weekend and work from yesterday. I am sitting here at my desk and sore as hell.------------------------------
