Brother D, you can bend some thin sheet metal into T shapes. They work great for the snake method if you are trying to save fuel or stage your wood chunks.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Just added 50 day dry aged ribeye to the party. Has been really windy and had trouble keeping temps down. Finally dawned on me to add water to the drip pan. Now temps are down around 270.

My wife is working me to death. I'm starting to think that she is really a democrat. Always wants something and wants me to pay for it and do the work. I sure miss the glory days of Big Ron.

Heading to an outdoor wedding, hoping the weather holds and the cocktails are free.Love you bro!

Ribeye cooked faster than I expected. Pulled and bringing things to searing temps. I hope carryover doesn't overcook. If it's to temp when everyone arrives I might skip the sear.

Sweet ride @DoubleEgger My first car was a 66 mustang convertible. Only had a six, but I miss that car. Had a buddy with a 69 camaro that had been built. It was bad ass until a push rod came out the bottom.

@nolaegghead - Thanks, I did sear, but after the temp had started to drop back down. It was back to 117* when I seared it. I was going for medium-rare. If it had only been me I would have gone rare. It was really good. I'm way too tired right now to do a write up.

Put two butts on an hour ago. Gonna let'm ride overnight. Aiming for late lunch ~2pm.
250 overnight then maybe push the temp tomorrow to ensure they are done on time.Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL
