Maybe not y’all, but luckily the dogs are more gassy than myself and it’s easy to play off.. I have no doubt they know a couple of mine are in there … but luckily duck dog has been crop dusting them from day one, even when I was part time

I like when a dog wakes itself up from a dead sleep, or scares itself and runs around like something just tried to eat it.  It is like dogs are completely unaware they have an ****.

Finished up some snow shoveling, got about a foot with 20-30 mph north wind.  Snow was a nice powdery type, not a backbreaker.  Had to add a pathway thru the windrow for the beagles...

Can’t say like but that is a first aid technique that I haven’t heard of before. Anyway I hope that you have the next 2 or 3 days or weeks off.

I am quite sure I would remember the event but no way in he!! I would toss it out there for any further audience consumption unless a script writer had a contract guarantee in hand!   B)

And that is not what I expected to read.  There is a lot to unpack, but not sure I am qualified.

@SGH expertise should probably be called upon.

It really wasn’t that serious. Although, luckily it’s my Friday. Through and through on the cheeks. Luckily the real hero’s, Fire Department, got there to transported the guy to the hospital.

That "a" is a crucial part of your sentence.

Had to do a welfare check on a guest. A concerned neighbor called. Turns out guest hung himself. Maybe 2 weeks ago. Bad deal all around. I meet the parents tomorrow as they clean up his affairs. ☹️

I’m sorry you had to go through that. It’s a tough situation, especially if you aren’t accustomed to that sort of stuff. It’s ok to not be ok.

One responding officer started dry heaving immediately after making visual confirmation. They had 6 patrol cars. A few cadets in training. Animal control had to secure pit bull before police made entry.

Oh man.  I am sorry you are having to deal with this.  Really no words for you or his family.  Stay safe out there my friend.  I am truly sorry.

That might make for an interesting thread.  “What are you watching right now?”  Downsizing (on prime) is one of the better movies I’ve seen in awhile. It’s weird, but entertaining. New for me, but it’s been out for awhile. Vengeance was also decent. Another sorta weird one.

So this is new, Man City are top courtesy of putting 3 past the Gunners on their home turf. In three weeks they’ve closed the gap and gone top, despite being in sub-optimal form.  Still a two horse race though as Arsenal hold a game in hand, which could be the difference or meaningless, come the final reckoning.

Half way through the second trimester and that’s when relegation and European spot credential bona fides emerge.

Aston Villa v Arsenal, two defats and a draw for the deposed leaders makes this away tie look tricky.  The hosts had been in good form but two defeats back to back has been chastening.  All about attitude this one and it’s time for Gunners to deploy the cajones. 1-2

Brentford v Palace, having ruthlessly torn Brighton apart last week - nothing to fear for mighty Eagles.  I should caveat that with the filthy Seagulls having; a legitimate goal ruled out, having 80% of the play, and us scoring the equaliser because their goalie essentially threw it in his own net.  Hosts unbeaten in five and Palace summing three draws in the same period. 2-0

Brighton v Fulham, decent match-up and game in store, too. Home advantage means 2-1

Chelsea v Southampton, gloomy corner #1, the hosts are still at sixes and sevens and the visitors are shorn of anything that looks, feels or even smells like a rudder.  Either 0-0 or 42-17.  But 1-0 and no credit to anyone.

Everton v Leeds, gloomy corner #2, the Toffees regressed to their mean, limping to a simple defeat against Utd last week. Leeds remain devoid of a manger, form, and confidence. A win for either team is essential, but 1-1 stamped all over it.

Forest v Man City, strong run of form for the hosts ended last weekend and while City have been less good on their travels overall, they are now top and have no plans to relinquish that. 0-3

Wolves v Bournemouth, gloomy corner #3, things going better for the hosts but the season is already being filed under ‘nothing to see here’ while their guests need to find something, and soon, to avoid the magnetic pull of relegation. 1-0

Newcastle v Liverpool, the Toon are draw specialists which suggests a lack of cutting edge while Liverpool are just batsh*t crazy. 1-0, unless the Reds score first then it will be a one all draw.

    Sunday

Man Utd v Leicester, the Foxes recent goal laden resurgence has been fun but it ends here, Utd are in their pomp and Rashford will score, obviously - because that’s what he does right now. 2-0

Spurs v West Ham, Spurs though, eh? You’d think at home they will be the effervescent fun machine they can be but this is Spurs.  West Ham have stabilised but remain perilously close to the relegation zone and depending upon other results could be second bottom at kick off. A testy affair but 3-1 feels about right.
