@Gulfcoastguy - If your internal sewer line and all of the drains were very close to a single exterior wall, digging under the house to make all of the required connections might be possible.
There is another consideration depending on where your ultimate connection to the city sewer is located. If it is on the same side of the new line, the slope might be close to that of the original connection. Otherwise you might be far enough away that the slope to the connection would be deeper and might not connect at the correct height.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

Three days of fun and frolics with the C-Bug accounting for just one fixture so far. Lots to get through this week, here we go
Friday night
Brighton v Palace. How many times need I tell you? It’s a rivalry not a derby. El Gatwicko is on. I don’t like this match and to be honest, four seasons in the same league means familiarity has taken the sparkle away. Very similar performances so far from two mid table teams. The hosts play it tight, the visitors play with a fraction more elan. Got to be a draw. 1-1.
Saturday
Man City v Chelsea, top of the table clash but ten points apart. Chelsea have the talent to hurt City but their 17 wins from 21 tells the story. 2-1
Newcastle v Watford, the Toon have been quick out the traps to lure in sufficient talent to keep them in with a dog’s chance of PL football next year. A defender on the periphery of the England team and a striker who’s not scored for 7 weeks have taken the money so far. The issue being that players fear relegation plus club owners know that there is pots of cash to be spent, so it very very much a seller’s market. The two teams are having similar problems at the foot of the table. This will be more fun than you think and a bonkers score is possible, but a home win most likely. 3-2.
Norwich v Everton, the all but sunk host the hapless. No-one understands why the Toffees are so awful right now but they’ll figure it out. Norwich won’t and they’ll go down. 0-0
Wolves v Southampton, two teams hidden in plain view. Saints are getting their mojo back and the hosts are comfortable in the top-half of the league. Going to be tight. 1-1
Villa v Man Utd, the dead cat bounced at Utd and turmoil reigns - about which no-one has any sympathy. Stevie G has stabilised Villa and is flexing his reputation by luring in better talent too. I hope the Villa fans enjoy it while it lasts as this is absolutely just a temporary job before one of the big hitters lures Stevie away. 2-2
Sunday
Liverpool v Brentford, it’s getting tougher for the visitors but their good start sees them on 23 points and with a more than sporting chance of remaining in the PL. They’ll get nothing from this as the Reds sustain their head of steam. 3-0
West Ham v Leeds, a win last time out for the visitors but they are still in a perilous position above the bottom 3. The Hammers keep doing whatever the hell it is they do and will win this. 2-0
Spurs v Arsenal, the north London derby, 6th host 5th and it’s tough to call. The Gunners have evolved from wretched to meaningful in the space of half a season. Spurs have fired irregularly and will do so in this match. Scratchy, tense 0-1.
A set of matches for the true enthusiast this week. I’m off to disable all communication devices until well after the Palace results is known. And then maybe longer, too.
Other girls may try to take me away

Thank you as always for that. I have to admit that on some Fridays I'm just pleasantly amused when I stumble across it, but today I found myself looking for it before you even posted it. At this point you could get me to subscribe to it if it were a weekly newsletter. But then it would be something you HAVE to do and that would take the fun out of it.CPFC1905 said:Three days of fun and frolics with the C-Bug accounting for just one fixture so far. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Man U will beat Villa - just because new players take a while to influence outcomes and I'm biased.
I also think that Arsenal have little gas in the tank after working to a 10 man draw against the 'pool yesterday so I'll go with 1-1 in the North London Derby.XXL BGE, Karebecue, Klose BYC, Chargiller Akorn Kamado, Weber Smokey Mountain, Grand Turbo gasser, Weber Smoky Joe, and the wheelbarrow that my grandfather used to cook steaks from his cattle

Good stuff, it is hard to beat fajitas. We were in Kansas a few weeks ago and shot some lessers, all the guys up there were telling us to try MeatEater's Goose pastrami recipe. We are doing our annual duck feast (our duck hunting crew gets together to eat) in a few weeks so I am going to try making that.

I just worked out until I threw up. I usually go before I eat anything. I missed my alarm this morning. I worked out after eating lunch. I go to a personal trainer. On my own I'd never push myself to discomfort. It's always the legs that make me feel sick. I don't know why.Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone

Whatever you do, don't disappoint the "disliker". He or she obviously needs something to judge and disapprove. It must nurture the tragically pathologic soul in some way that I don't understand.CPFC1905 said:

Seems like it's something a small-town xenophobic bowling fan would do. If they didn't have this outlet they'd be sitting on their porch guarding the front lawn from adolescent trespassers while browsing pickup bed trailers in the classified section of Auto Trader while spittin' chaw and sunflower shells into an empty Mountain Dew can. No offense to bowling fans or small town people.fishlessman said:Foghorn said:

Enjoying a New Mexico special from McDs. The Green Chili Double Cheeseburger. Fun to have sometime from a mass market chain that has actual heat.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Burger looks great and all, but good grief, get some hand cream on those fingers. Guess dry hands are par for the course in your parts.Ozzie_Isaac said:Enjoying a New Mexico special from McDs. The Green Chili Double Cheeseburger. Fun to have sometime from a mass market chain that has actual heat.

I'm in Las Cruces, New Mexico at a horse show, so my better half is sending me pictures of the progress. She said the kitchen is starting to go in, and she was very surprised at the size.😆

Got the news today that a girl our daughter sits next to in school tested positive for covid, so there goes our weekend. Quarantining while we wait to see if any symptoms develop. Nothing so far."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

@Ozzie_Isaac: Was it the length or girth of the kitchen that was cause for the reaction?
@JohnInCarolina: Sorry to hear. I think we’re all getting there. The number of personal contacts we know who have either just had it or do now is incredible. I hope and expect that all will be well for you and your fam. -
Been there, did that. My kids school canceled all of this week to distance learning due to numerous staff getting positive results from contact tracing. Hopefully they return Tuesday after MLK day. We’re not worried. Everyone in the family is fully vaxxed and we have a long weekend ahead, with a pending snow/ice storm on Sunday, as it is. All things considered, it could be worse.kl8ton said:

My oldest sonand wife, with two daughters ages 2 1/2 yo and 7 mos and a well run day-care found out within the hour that the facility will close for at least M-W of next week due to staffing shortages. When you extrapolate the knock-on impact of these decisions, especially the school systems, it is staggering. One that is not given enough light. FWIW-Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Agreed Frank. Our kids principal sent an email video detailing why they had to close. She was in tears. This lady fought for kids in the classroom every step of the way in 2019. The stress of these last 2.5 years is putting her into retirement in June.lousubcap said:

Well that was an eventful experience. Flying my drone out in front of my house the winds were a tad high but not crazy, or so I thought. All the sudden I see a prop fly off and up my drone went. Zero control about 400ft up. I immediately hit the return to home button and nada. Finally the signal comes back I see it's about a mile from the house over the middle of a pasture spinning like crazy and I am still able to see on camera. I look down see a pond, oh shite. I force land it next to the pond and then jump in the car to find it. I may have had to jump a fence who knows. Finally thank god for the gps I find it sitting unscathed minus the missing prop and a cracked housing on top. What a way to start a Friday evening.
