I had a dream last night where I was teaching in Karachi and had this thought “oh I should tell everyone on this forum that I’m in Pakistan!”

It’s possible there’s something seriously wrong with me.
I assume you are fluent in Urdu?

For many, many years, my grandmother owned a house in Karachi and spent nearly half of every year there. The photos and stories were incredible.
Nowhere close to fluent in Urdu, but I have been to Karachi as it happens.  My father and I visited when I was a sophomore in college.  A bit of a long story why we did that, but it was a formative experience and not one I’ll ever forget.
What’s with you being flagged on every post within minutes of posting?

Someone leads a very sad existence, apparently.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

Pricing re-outfitting my golf game. Bag, fairway woods, irons and putter.....makes BGE look cheap
My buddy just spent $2,000 updating his entire set with Pings, not including putter. His irons haven't arrived, but I hit his driver it felt like the face was a trampoline. I'm playing old irons and driver/metals that are more than a few years old. Sometimes it's better to not know what you're missing. No more blaming the tools for him. Good luck in your quest. Let us know what you end up with.

It was to watch cricket, wasn't it?  I understand your reluctance to share that detail on this forum.  Trust me, I do.😔

Gearing up to sort this bundle and a similar size on in the house, then take it to the recycling centre.
We are starting Day #4 of moving in to new house.  Next week we start to recover stuff from 150 square feet of storage.😬

My Ping i3’s are circa 2007, my drivers and woods are a hodgepodge collection. Started with a Ping G410 driver, have a bid in on eBay on a G410 3 wood. Will not buy a 5 wood. Would like a new putter and a new set of irons, just gonna piece it all together slowly. And you’re right about the driver, easily 30-50 more yards off of a new driver and my swing hasn’t changed one bit

I only tell people about my cricket obsession (one I share with my father) when they ask me to explain the rules of American baseball to them.

Ah, no - it's about 15 years old but in the traditional style.  Oak frame, brick dwarf wall, shiplap walls & tile roof.   And no doors.   (That's not my Skoda, FYI).

🤣   Not even left the factory yet......

In tangental news, daughter traded her RR Sport for an Evoque two months ago,  its been in the shop 3 times under warranty.  She test drove a Discovery today.
I got the hard stare when I suggested it was the maker, not the model that was the problem.

I don't think I would like Dunk even if he played for Palace.  I am clinging to the hope that they can still mathematically go down - albeit I can't be bothered to check the fixture list to see if that's even possible.

Wondering about a new ad on Farcebook that's claiming:
"Alexa can now detect the sound of smoke alarms and glass breaking. (Enable Guard now)."
Could someone explain to me how, after five years or so of Bezosebub promising us that Alexa "isn't listening" until She hears her name, She could possibly do that?

    Running CAT5e cables.
I did yesterday.  I have been out of networking for a while.  I did a spit take when I saw they make cat 8. Cat 6 sucks enough to run and terminate.  Cat 5e will be the end for me.  I will not go more unless it's fiber.
