Made my first Creme Brulee from the recipe posted by @DMW .  It was really good, thinking next time I will use half&half, 7 egg yolks, and some vanilla.

Haha!  I'm not sure what our dog Rocky had to eat, but he was lying at my feet while I was watching the golf tourney and he just about cleared the room, twice!

I'm in it for the nostalgia, then the baseball.   I really need a return trip to Chicago.

Fenway is also on my list. Maybe Chavez ravine. Everyone is so anxious to build new parks...
If you are 6' tall its difficult to even squeeze your legs into the seats at Fenway. Makes the airlines appear to be very generous. Neat experience for sure. Sweet Caroline @ 7th is awesome.

This is all true.  At least it is much cleaner than when I first started going there I the early/mid 80s.

I have the house to myself tonight so I thought I would captitalize and blow the diet. The wife thinks I'm eating tuna on wheat. In my defense, I did keep it small. Only 6 chops instead of my usual dozen. Also I only cooked half a bag of tots instead of the whole thing.

This dieting is F'ing killing me.

@theyolksonyou the drawbacks of wrigley are the drunken idiots who use it as a bar and don't care about the team or baseball. Bathrooms are gross.

But it's still cool to see an old stadium and its in a fantastic location.  Seems like a million bars and restaurants within walking distance.

us cellular is a more modern park and the fans are better. I'd rather take my kids there than wrigley. But there's not much neighborhood there to visit.

if you ever make it to chicago let me know!

Been on the go all day. All I had to eat was a bunch of grapes and two bananas. Having a beer or so at my basement bar and remembered there was an extra burger in the fridge from last night. As luck would have it there was also some bacon from Saturday morning. A microwave does have it's place in the kitchen.

Reflecting on how lucky we are.  Talked my brother in law through his cancer treatment options, also listened to him gush about his first BGE cook of pork butt, the egg we brought him last weekend compliments of my sister.  Hoping it will be a nice diversion.  F cancer.

You can have the park to yourself at the cell and maybe a father and son will bum rush the first base coach and assault him. Oh, so there's that. The drunken idiots are the cards fans in town.

Just got out of the Michael Jackson - One show in Vegas. Wow- best show I have ever seen. I do not care if you loved him, liked him, hated him, judged him or did not care at all about him, see the show if you are in town. You will not be sorry.

Now, let Lady Luck be on my side tonight.

Saw the show when it was on tour. I bet it is better there than the road. Good luck.

For the past 2 weeks I have been remodeling my moms bedroom and bathroom. It's been tough, but I'm getting there. I'm not much of a carpenter, but it's not costing her a thing. Hope she likes it when she finally sees it.

I bought another year's worth of minutes for my 2007 Tracfone.  It's not fancy but it does what I need, and $100/year (that's year, not month) is a good deal for a cheep bastid.
    However.
However, buying more minutes from this %&^*#$!! company is by far the worst buying experience you can have, and it only seems to get worse.  Last year I used their website, not that well designed but I eventually got my time added.  This year, after typing in "www.tracfone.com" I saw that address, with the little "encrypted" lock in the address bar, but then it immediately redirected to just "tracfone.com", and then some media address, both without an encryption key.

I decided to go to the phone again.  Eventually bought the minutes using the touchtone, then at the end an asian indian came on and tried to go through the same steps again, I couldn't get it through to him that I'd already purchased the minutes.  I gave him my name, phone's serial, last four of the CC, exp. date of the CC, 3-digit code of the CC, AT LEAST four times apiece, then he finally said, "Oh, your purchase just came through on my screen'.  Then he asked for EVERYTHING AGAIN!!!"!"!"!""
I'm gonna punch some drywall, go to bed early, and then I'll be good again until next March.

Just shoveled driveway.  Really heavy wet snow. At least 6 inches deep.  At least 6 pounds of snow stuck to the shovel on each push.  I could only push about 4 feet before needing to lift and heave.
