Looks great! Did you dip those burgers in cheese? That has be the best best overall coverage I've ever seen.
That was the effect of other cheese slices being moldy so used ultra thin round provolone slices. Stringy enough cheese to fully envelope each patty. Never had that happen before.

I used to be able to go to my county auditor webpage, then I could go to a map that had many functions including the ability to view parcels over satellite imagery, click the parcel and find out the owners, acreage, tax value, etc.  None of that works anymore, satellite imagery is gone, parcels, aerial photos. Checked county to the north, same.  I emailed the auditor to see what happened.

Put on a pork loin that had marinated in Walkerswood Jamaican jerk paste, olive oil, and orange juice. Having the devil of a time getting the Large up to cooking temp. Also mixed up a batch of pumpkin cookies and will get those in the oven in a bit. The dough is in the fridge to stiffen up some first.

Drank way too much Friday and Saturday so trying to nurse myself back to normalcy with a couple beers.  =)

I tweaked my heal on the 4th and kind of f’d up my bike park plans this week. Skipping the big park tomorrow (Snow Summit in Big Bear, CA) and just going to ride the flowy park on Thursday (SkyPark in Lake Arrowhead, CA).

I just hit 15 years at my company last week and have been taking the week off before/after the 4th ever since.

Just finished sweating my butt off over the wok.  Craving Asian on a 90 degree high humidity day isn't likely again any time soon.  On the plus side, was able to recreate PF Chang's spicy garlic green beans as the side.

My better half picked up these birdhouses somewhere months ago.  Likely garage sale or Goodwill.  She's out of town today with her dad, seeing a Dr.  I finally got around to mounting them on the fence.  Not expecting any birds to move in, for several reasons, but she'll be happy they are up.

Gathering my thoughts over the continued impending battle with city council and short term rentals. Tomorrow night, the council hears the amendment. Public comment welcome (careful what you wish for). They vote in 2 weeks. Gonna have to type it out so I don’t fly off the handle

Checking the weather for the upcoming week. Pleasantly surprised that my favorite time of the year is here...should have stayed on graveyard.

Stay calm no matter what.  Also, do not get angry if they vote 10sec after public comment.  I have seen a few boards, some are good and take into account the public, others already have the decision made and are just going through the motions.

I thought it was a bit warm here today, but compared to you I am having nice spring weather.

Actual vote isn’t for another 2 weeks. Tomorrow is the introduction. We already “won” by getting them to disallow it in single family dwelling zones areas without it being owner occupied. Meaning you can let out a room, not the whole house. We’re just going to voice our opposition to it in general

@ColbyLang I would rather have this than that. The humidity was one of my main reasons in leaving Texas several years ago.

Where do you live, Colby?  That sounds like South Dakota conditions, a place where I'll never live again.   :o
