Ended up just going with (2) 304 stainless prep tables for now. We are gonna build a pool in a year or so, and I may double the size of my back patio to create a huge outdoor space so figured I’d wait till then to decide.

You know you’ve been in quarantine too long when you think your garlic looks like a butt.

Enjoying last nights leftovers from our 36th anniversary.  The lady is either a saint or somewhat touched in the head to put with my dumb a$$ for that many years.

Well I walked 5.5 miles today. I am trying it to regain my pre quarantine losses. Decided to wait until tomorrow to try the Tritip that I bought.

I bought one of them and it’s worth every dime I paid for it. The rubber bottom is the bees knees on the boat. Regular buckets slide around on the fiberglass deck. A forty dollar bucket is way cheaper than a fiberglass repair from a rogue sliding bucket across the deck.

Well seeing that was my profession for 34 years I’ll opine a bit. First it takes a workforce that can leave the house and second it requires money.

I know of a certain governor who had already raided the fuel taxes intended for the DOT before the plague even hit. Something about federal court orders regarding an unsafe, underfunded prison system so bad that the prisoners were killing each other like trapped rats. Of course now the state income revenue flow has taken a shotgun blast to the guts.

Even if shelter in place orders are lifted there is a funny thing, workers expect to be paid.

Coincidentally, an article in my local paper today was talking about some area major road projects are going ahead of schedule aided in part by the lower volume of traffic.

Having been in the business for 34 years I call bull crap on that. I have had every excuse known to man given to me when they are trying to get time extensions and avoid liquidated damages(daily money deductions for being late) . It rained too much it rained too little, material shipments are delayed, the scales people are hassling them. But I guarantee you if you have no money to pay them they stop working and try to sue you for idle equipment and personnel.

Agree, one of my buddies is a paving contractor for NCDOT. They are taking advantage of the traffic downturn.

Interesting. My buddy coats the inside of Municipal  water storage tanks and he’s all over the state.
