As per manufacturer's directions, longevity in a buried PEX installation consists of making sure it's not going to freeze (depth) and filling the area around the tubing with sand. -

Couple of notes, they say that diameter not length changes the curing time ,I think that is partially true if all are about the same length
ALso, I got lazy and only weighed SOME of the green weights not all and I have 1 weighed salami in each row "Sampling" if you will, all of those are within .5% +- weight loss so Iamnot to worried that I did not weigh each and every salami
