Governor just shut down all non-essential business for at least 30 days. Including casinos (which the majority were already closing). Never thought I would see that.
I am glad that more is being done, hopefully it is enough.

Wondering how much longer it’s gonna be before everyone says F it and goes out and does stuff anyways. I read that 86% of cases of this stuff go undetected with zero symptoms. I mean don’t get me wrong it’s terrible. But eventually society is gonna rebel and get sick and tired of hanging out at home. And if people that have it aren’t even having symptoms part of me thinks it’s gonna just become like the flu. You don’t wanna be around nana or a newborn with the flu, you need to take the same precautions with this. People are gonna get real sick and tired of GD “social distancing” real quick.

Looking at the pics from Nashville, the beaches of Florida and supermarkets, it doesn't look like people have started social distancing. The governor of Nevada took the unpresidented step of shutting down all gaming in the state. Slot machines, table games, everything. Everywhere. Go outside for a walk. Go out to the wilderness for a hike. Just don't be around people. It is not hard.

Just got an email, Planet Fitness is closing for 2 weeks. My barbershop is closed indefinitely. I even had some Lysol wipes to wipe the gym machines.

Not much of a substitute, but cooking for a house full (minimum 5) and for some of the folks in our neighborhood that are elderly and need some help, as well as, working at home (as much as I can) and the 5K dog walk has kept me pretty busy.

I make up for the social distancing after the last meal is cooked, served and cleaned, doing anything I can with My Beautiful Wife, and of course the the posting of disagree, off topic or flagged comments.

Keep a cool head, it is going to be tough. You will get through it. Those that pay zero attention have a chance at infection and being infected can cause your death, infecting your loved ones, or other people's health.

I can put up with isolation. Cook have an adult beverage, read a book, listen to music, start on the project you have never had time to do, there is plenty of things that can occupy your time. Don't be risking interaction with those that may be carrying the virus.

Best of luck, stay safe....wash your hands at least 5 times/day. Call your parents and check on them.

    Peace.

Congrats!!  I'm not a grandparent yet but I'd say the best course of action is to spoil him rotten.
    That’s a plan I can follow😁

knocked the gin handle collection up to 14.  thinking a 5.6 week supply isnt really hoarding.  except for poultry, tp, and hand sanitizer the stores near me are pretty well stocked.  they got smarter, the sausages are now in 5 pound boxes and bigger cuts of meat and the amount of shoppers is back to normal.
