We’re pretty prepared and it’s still kinda scary. It could go smooth and it could go really bad.speed51133 said:Just wondering.... Everyone send to be taking this all in stride, which is good to see. Remind your friends, who are single and in their 30s: they have parents, and maybe grandparents...speed51133 said:Thanks. I have many friends in their 30s who are single. They really do think this is just a flu. I really need to practice some relaxation techniques.

Having the reality of several additional decades on the planet, I made a similar exotic (not like what follows) car move after a friend commented on his exotic car buy (used A-M Vantage, "What am I gonna do, wait til i'm 65"??) a couple of years ago. As I am prone to say "You will know when it's when!"DMW said:Since we're all going to die and we're staring down a Mad Max dystopia, I'm contemplating a purchase...

Just read the most recent report I could get (Friday) from John Hopkins on mortality/infections on COVID19 thus far tracking in 2020.
The typical mortality, in the USA is .1% with the annual influenza that resurfaces every year.
Currently, this one is at 2% .....just in the US.
Estimates are for it to hit 4%, globally."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

The Vantage is a solid buy and good value for money for a really nice car. V8 or V12?lousubcap said:

Anyone else having this experience? We don't really need anything per se, but are low on milk and a few staples. Tried to replenish on Saturday but the shelves were empty. Thinking of going out tomorrow but don't want to waste a trip if things are still empty.Battleborn said:After the initial panic buying of Friday and Saturday, the wife and I went out today and the store was normal, just with less on the shelves. I don't want to misrepresent what I saw. The store was empty. They did have plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit. They also had some milk, meat and frozen items. Also plenty of canned french style green beans for some reason. The stores around here have limited their operating hours. Maybe that has helped.Boileregger said:

This was only one store that was near me. I haven't ventured out to any other's, and won't because we are good to go for at least a week on fresh stuff.Las Vegas, NV -

Getting ready to return the wrong sized boots that Amazoid sent me. I looked at the confirmation email that Bezobebub sent me and immediately tried to cancel the order to no avail. The thing is that his third party vendor busted their hump and even got it to me a day early.

Decided to keep them. They are 10W instead of 10.5 W and slightly tight across the ball of my right foot. They might stretch out a bit with some wear. Feet may have shrunk when I lost 50 pounds.Botch said:"Bezobebub"....
