Having the reality of several additional decades on the planet, I made a similar exotic (not like what follows) car move after a friend commented on his exotic car buy (used A-M Vantage,  "What am I gonna do, wait til i'm 65"??) a couple of years ago.  As I am prone to say "You will know when it's when!"

Just read the most recent report I could get (Friday) from John Hopkins on mortality/infections on COVID19 thus far tracking in 2020.

The typical mortality, in the USA is .1% with the annual influenza that resurfaces every year.

Currently, this one is at 2% .....just in the US.

Estimates are for it to hit 4%, globally.

After the initial panic buying of Friday and Saturday, the wife and I went out today and the store was normal, just with less on the shelves. Our purchase was fresh stuff to supplement our meals for the week.

The Vantage is a solid buy and good value for money for a really nice car. V8 or V12?

I don't want to misrepresent what I saw. The store was empty. They did have plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit. They also had some milk, meat and frozen items. Also plenty of canned french style green beans for some reason. The stores around here have limited their operating hours. Maybe that has helped. 
This was only one store that was near me. I haven't ventured out to any other's, and won't because we are good to go for at least a week on fresh stuff.

Decided to keep them. They are 10W instead of 10.5 W and slightly tight across the ball of my right foot. They might stretch out a bit with some wear. Feet may have shrunk when I lost 50 pounds.
