It turned out nice and tender. My wife even complemented the steaks tenderness. "Why can't the egg make it this tender?" Ha! I thought it was good but not great. I used Dizzy Pig Game On. Which I like as a rub. I don't know if the rub has celery seed in it but the steak had a strong aroma of celery when removing it from the bag. The flavor wasn't bad but I should have stayed with salt, pepper, and garlic base for a rub. I'm not knocking Dizzy Pig or anything like that. Great rubs and great owner. I should have gone with different rub profile from the start. My fault.

About to pay the HVAC repair guy for this service call, my thermostat threw about 20 fault codes and went into emergency heat only. Should be exciting

Going to pick up my wife's car that has been in the shop for 6 weeks for hail damage.  It has been a beating waiting for it to get finished.  Insurance estimate was 9K.  Final bill.  14.5K  Needless to say.  Its pretty much a new car now.

HVAC guy just left. Had to put 3 pounds of gas in my system, they can't find the leak. No charge to me, yet.

How old is the system?

Its 2 years since it was installed, I "sold it to myself" when I was an HVAC salesman. It's a trane XV variable speed system.

184.4, 184.2, 184.7, 184.8, 180.2, 180.4. There were others too but those were the ones I remembered. 

System is a trane xv18 with a tam9 air handler and xl850 stat

it's low on refrigerant or restricted metering device

Leak/restriction usually = bad install.

The install is usually more important than the equipment in regard to reliability.

Anything variable speed with an inverter needs to have some power (surge, etc) protection.

All the above is my opinion.

They put 3 pounds in it. I agree the install is of utmost importance,  I disappointed it came to this so early in my system life.

I am glad I settled for a Trane XL 17 seer heat pump two years ago.

did they dump and go,or do a leak check?..........check for for oil residue on the indoor sections drain pan.....indoor coils are the achilles heel for leaks....if not it is install related ( possibly ) but it will not fix itself

They checked for a leak with a sniffer all inside and outside. Only then did they add refrigerant from the charge chart. I told them to get the approved dye and fire it up, let's not chase a leak let's find it.

Yes we have a setup for our large commercial built ups for quick hard to find leaks

 The green patch is asparagus. I sewed some wheat, possibly rye to follow for a cover crop though it will hard to water when it gets dang cold.

Just got prompted by Google "Memories" to check out some pics and saw something I made after I cooked the 47 day dry aged A5 Wagyu brisket extension to make burnt ends.  Looks like I made a breakfast quesadilla using some thinly sliced up leftovers, a frittata, and lots of cheese.  I vaguely remember that it was very tasty, but the nap I had afterwards was epic.
