@SGH I hope you enjoy your molcajete as much as I do mine. I use it almost daily.

Scottie, did your molca-thingie come with both a round rock and a pestle, or does your pestle balance on one end?  Can't tell from the pics.

I had close to a 3lb chuck roast being neglected in the fridge. Not sure what to do with it. So I busted out the SV to see what this SV business is all about.

@SGH , I tried the Popeyes chicken sammich last week.  Pretty good I guess. But too much breading IMHO.  And too much breading holds onto extra grease. I know chic-fil-a uses butter on their buns, but their butter flavor trumps nonsensical grease and breading flavor. Lol. Will stick with the occasional chic-fil-a sammich combo in the future.  =)

Brother like most things I think quality varies store to store and location to location. The Popeyes sandwich I had was really good. About on par with Chic-fil-a. Just different. I was pleasantly surprised.

experiment to see if removing all the air increases ripening because the ethylene concentrations will increase relatively speaking...
ok, results are....no difference from the control except the high vacuum made the avocado seem carbonated...not an improvement.
