Just had a kid born this morning.  When the picture was taken, he looked to be about 4-5 hours old.

That kid looks like it has attitude right out of the womb.
    Bless her little heart.
So kind of a funny story....
Right after that was taken, I walked over to the pigs.  “Berk” the big boar was in the pen with one of the small guys.  None of the other pigs were to be seen. Surely I was just not seeing them in the brush. Nope.  They got out.
    Nowhere to be found.
    Slight panic sets in.
    Walk the fence line...  nothing.
Give the pig food call... nothing.

3 hours go by and I give up.  There are acres of woods with all kinds of hickory nuts and acorns falling all over. That stuff is pig candy so why would they come home?

Finally after seven hours, give the pig food call again and bang on the lid of a trash can and seconds later 10 of the 12 missing come running out of the brush. Was never so happy to see those things come running towards me.  Took another 10 mins to get them in the pen, but in they went. Minutes later, after after getting something to drink, they lay down and did not get up.  Never saw that before. I think they were just stupid full and tired.

Hoping the other two come back today.  No sign yet as of this morning.
Hope they did not devour a neighbors or set of neighbors gardens or anything like that, but if they did, we should find out today.

Mine too,  do you use the 'Peamutt' one?

Realized the with the new band set-up for the LBGE the dome does not open as far as the old system.  Not anything of consequence until trying to manage ABT's on the extender with the D-ring on a PSWoo.  I may have to factor that into the supervisory adult beverage flight plan going forward.   FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    Logging
Did Some of that myself this morning. But I did not have a dingo to help me. Envious.
Mine was a hickory tree that I cut down in the spring which was standing deadwood. Finally got around to splitting the last quarter.  Not as big as that one but we have plenty of big trees around. What is the fate of that log?

Were you able to figure out how they got out in the first place?
I remember some cows, once they got thru a fence and ate a half-patch of ripe sweetcorn, were much more likely to "get thru" again.

I don’t think 13-3 at half is what that saying was meant to conjure.  Maybe second half will pick up.

The score really didn’t represent how the game started.  To Buffalo’s credit, they started playing a lot better and made it into a pretty good game.  Still a loss for Buffalo in the end, but those are the breaks.

Yes. There Is a place where we let a few trustworthy neighbors dump food and branches and other garden trimmings. Someone was smart and left a really big pile outside the pen. Someone else thought they should push it in.  Well, that created a ramp and out they went.

At least that is the working hypothesis.

Found one more. Still missing one.
