Packing for a trip to Lincoln, NE for college visit(s) and to watch the Huskers BEAT the Buckeyes!!!
It should be a good game until about halfway through the third quarter then the Buckeyes will pull away. Gotta remember Urban isn't on the sidelines anymore. This team has been playing a different brand of football this year.

Watching the Rugby World Cup match that recorded this morning and wondering if the US team has ever actually played rugby before.

Staying up late until  I go to bed around 9am.

I just read some snobby beer blog where they thought high life and other macro beers were terrible. Someone commented they drink high life to get smashed on quantity over quality and they were ridiculed.

    What's wrong with cheap beer???
It’s absolute garbage.  You know why they serve light beer cold?  So you can tell it isn’t p!ss.

And drinking just to get smashed is something they should be ridiculed for as well, even more so if they’re over 22.
Well, thank you for your thoughtful and insightful comments, Nancy.

You’re welcome.  Let me know if it was my opinion on cheap beer or my thinking that “I’m only drinking this to get hammered” is dumb logic and I’ll be sure not to trigger you again.

Just went to the vitamin store around the corner from the house. There was a large police presence with a large portion of the parking lot blocked off. Turns out a random street robbery had occurred and two people were nearly stabbed to death right in front of the store.
Pretty scary considering my liquor store and Ace Hardware are in the same strip mall.

But more imporkantly, what's with the pig?  Gotta be a story behind a pig with honeycomb on its butt, er, hindquarters, and bees flying over it.  Or at least a bad pun.

@eoin & @CPFC1905 I saw this at the Glen H Curtiss museum last weekend and thought you guys would be proud.

    Splendid stuff.
BSA hold a very specific place in my family history.
Legend has it that a young lady's eyes fell upon a resplendent unattended BSA Bantam one sunny afternoon and immediately formed a judgement about the owner.   She waited with the bike until its owner returned.  She and my father celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary two weeks ago.
I don't think the proposal was, 'bollocks to it, let's get married' - but can't fully rule it out either.

Im sure that someone local has more insight about this than me but I'll assume it has to do with the "Honeymonk" moniker

"Known by the locals as the “Honeymonk” or “The Monk,” Lexington Barbecue was established in 1962 by Wayne Monk. Since its establishment, the white building on the hill has grown from a small cafe to a nationally known barbecue restaurant."

The slaw is mixed with red sauce (vinegar based bbq sauce) that they use with the pork
