But the big question is on which day this weekend England capitulate to the West Indies during the 3rd Test. Even though is starts Saturday, don’t rule out Sunday and its only even money for Monday.

Never mind, there is the prospect of Eddie Jones’ XV humping the cheese eating surrender monkeys good and proper at Twickers on Sunday to distract us.

On with the PL;

Saturday’s lunchtime amuse-bouche is Man U at Fulham.  European matches get underway again this week, so Ole will rotate but Fulham are awful.  Some infrequent starters for Utd but still an orthodox away win. 2-0.

Palace have found a bit of form and need/want to beat West Ham.  They might well do so as out of nowhere the team is packed with forwards.  West Ham will have other plans and although unpredictable, if Arnoutovic plays well (never certain) it could be a multi-goal draw.  A 2-1 for Palace would be just peachy, though.

Huddersfield are doomed and will lose to Arsenal, 3-0.

Liverpool need to get back on the horse and firm up those title aspirations. I think being at home to the notoriously poor travellers of Bournemouth will help considerably.  2-0

Relegation 6 pointer (sort of) is Saints hosting Cardiff, the plucky Welshies just won’t give up.  This will be gritty and it's hard to call.  But i am going with the home team, especially as I have Redmond in my FF team. 1-0.

The ’Silva derby’ sees Everton go to Watford and will get kicked remorselessly in to the air.  Marco Silva has done nothing to enamour himself to anyone and sooner or later will be sacked by Everton who in turn have lost their identity.  Two unattractive teams, 3-1 Watford through spite and violence. 

Teatime sees an interesting contest between Brighton and Burnley, teams of opposing fortune in recent months.  No surprise that Dyche’s men have solidified and will doubtless achieve mid table security by mid-March.  Brighton are in slack water. They possibly have enough points banked to be safe if they edge past the others in the looming relegation scraps - but those matches really are scraps and all bets are off as the weeks tick by.  One reading is that their squad is just too thin on quality - another is that with three wins in the next 13 games they are safe. Pressure is a funny thing.  I am going 1-1 as Burnley have the momentum, even away from home. 

Stoke’s season is petering out and the new man in charge has not sparked the push they needed to get in the play-offs - it seems.  Tough times are rarely improved by one of the leagues form teams hopping over for a local derby.  West Brom have their sights on automatic promotion and are a tough team to beat.  I call on the @Eoin amendment and confidently predict a 4-0 away win.   (I don’t think this is working mate, shall I go back to being more considered?)

Sunday lunchtime is Spurs at home to Leicester.  The home team continue to defy logic and have strung victories together despite St George Kane being crocked and Dele Alli with his feet up too.  Leicester remain an odd bunch and them winning here is not unlikely.  Spurs also have a CL match mid-week, much to ponder - especially as they have not drawn this season yet.   So lets go 1-1.

Oooh the glamour, Man City welcome Chelsea - you can smell the money.  But the Chels’ have lost all direction and will probably play the same way they have all season.  Man City will seize this chance to press Liverpool hard and comfortably take the three points.  2-0.

Monday, by which time England will have capitulated to a 3-0 defeat in Saint Lucia, sees already safe Wolves head to Newcastle.  As the Geordie tragi-comedy rolls on, there’s a chance that Wolves dolling out a standard beating here will pour more fuel on local fires.  It is very possible.  Let's go 2-1 to the visitors and build the pressure on Rafa who has played the ‘not my fault I am actually a football genius’ card all season.

My hometown Ace Hardware is a relatively new BGE dealer (1.5 years or so). I've helped them with their EggFest, etc.. They've been so appreciative of the help that they give me ridiculous prices on eggs and Rockwood.

Not a bragging post, but the moral of the story is get out there and help your local dealers! Especially the new ones that are jumping into something they know very little about. They will pay you back ten fold for your knowledge and help.
