It was a perfect day weather-wise. .  74 degs and slightly cloudy.  I went to the gun range this morning with a friend then did stir fry on the deck this evening. The MM really shines with a CGS wok.
Love the wok cooks. Giddy up!

Getting ready to throw a few Prime ribeyes on, trying not to fall asleep. Guess it's time to have a whiskey to put it over the top.

And very cool find with those tix.  I wish I had started keeping ticket stubs.
I wish I had kept more of my tickets especially Giants Stadium in 87. Several shows I went to are Dicks/Dave’s picks but I’ll have to check out Relisten, thanks for the tip
On my high school band trip I purchased a fine, large ceramic German beer stein.  In college, and for the rest of my life, I started stowing my ticket stubs in that stein (too deluxe to drink beer out of, I would've dropped it eventually). One of my tasks when I retire is to pry them all out, order them, and make a list of all the shows over my lifetime.  That'll be interesting.

Got my new board today. I wanted something smaller that I could use for quick jobs it’s 12”*13” and 1 1/4” thick. I told the guy to match the one he made me 6 years ago and he pretty much nailed it.

@fishlessman  I kid you not, we looked into it.  It is a cleaning nightmare if you get inspected. Not that we thought we would for any reason right now, but you never know what may happen in the future. If you have one, there is a special protocol to do so.  As soon as we heard that, wheather fact or fiction, we aborted that thought. Plus it is a lot cheaper NOT to go that route. But it would look cool as hell to be backlit by some LEDs.

  • They closed the little Hot Chicken joint down the street from my house and opened a place that does nothing but quality burgers and loaded potatoes.

    This is could prove detrimental.

I have always wanted to try hot chicken.  I am going to Vegas for a bachelor party during the first weekend of March Madness.  Saw that there is a Hatty B's there.  Going to give it a try and see if its as good as I hear it is.

  • @Hook_emHornsfan_74 you won’t regret it.

I take that back. Stay away from the Extra Hot. You might regret that. Not immediately...but it will catch up to you.

I’m hoping Hattie B’s ambitious growth plan doesn’t wreck the quality.
