Nope. He went @Darby_Crenshaw, then @JustineCaseyFeldown, then had a fight with @focker (I think), then left. I miss him.
I liked him a lot. Tons of knowledge

was filling out some paperwork for a gun trade that involved trading back a 2-stroke scooter 3 years later to a friend who wanted it back (good thing I never transferred the title)...and my buddy Eddie the chef came by with his gf.  She saw the gun I was getting the serial number off and she was fascinated.  Wanted to see some more, so I pulled some out.  Later they left and this was the terrorist-looking scene in my dining room afterwards.

Sadly, that's not even close to all of them.  Hope my mom doesn't see this pic.

That would have been the best pic ever if you'd have dumped a sack of flour onto the middle of the table.

Is that the spyderco autonomy?  I bought the serrated version and it’s nice but the mili is still my favorite, big, thin, light, and fast.

PSA/Note to self and others... when drunk, do not eat pizza directly out of the oven.  2nd degree burns result when 350* mozzarella meets the lips.  Let it cool a while.  That is all.

  • @nolaegghead nice. That’s pretty much what my kitchen looked like all the time before I got married. I think my wife had to put a sign that said “NO GUNS ON KITCHEN TABLE!”

My only comment would be to get yourself a little table so you don't have to drink on the ground.

@HeavyG I was cooking on my Blackstone, not my outdoor kitchen. Raw pork was everywhere. It was there or on top of the trash can.  =)

@lousubcap I wish. I’ve got 2 meetings and a proposal to review today. I’ll probably find a glass before I go meet my dad’s new girlfriend tonight. FML

My comment would be that this is an interesting strategy for trapping another skunk.  Gives new meaning to the phrase “drunk as a skunk”.

Pondering how many stupid reuseable plastic bags I will have to start bringing to Kroger now that they decided they are going to stop providing plastic bags. Or better yet, stop going to Kroger.

Don't worry, they'll continue to offer paper bags if you don't want to take your own bags.

Neither Aldi or Lidl provide free bags. Neither do Costco, BJ's, Sam's.

I've been using reusable nylon bags for more than a decade. Can't say I've really missed free grocery store bags.

I'm mainly just annoyed by it. That has been one of a few reasons I have avoided shopping at Aldi. I recycle all of my plastic bags every month. Im curious how using paper bags is any better for the environment? Sure I guess maybe a lot of the paper used is recycled paper.

The disposable ones, billions of which end up in landfill? Probably a good job they are stopping giving them away.

Ok fair point. But now they are inconveniencing 95% of their customer base because hardly anyone uses these reuseable bags.  They will now be forced upon you even if you don't want to use them. And then what happens when I bring 4 bags in with me but discover I need 8 to get all my groceries. I now have to spend more money getting 4 more bags that will then have to be stored in my house somewhere. I'm just on my soapbox. I'll shut up about it. This isn't the thread to b*tch about it.
