I don't understand this...has the ball not reached the plate yet?  Why are her legs crossed?  If she just hit the ball, wouldn't the bat be on her other shoulder?  So many questions for a Sunday morning - I'm getting a beer now.
Yes.....the ball has yet to reach the plate. She's slap hitting. One more step and she hits the ball in full stride. Works when you're fast.

Definitely an art to it. Dont think I'd have been able to. I've been called a lot of things but I don't recall "fast" being one of them.

Headed out for the week to ABQ to work at Sandia.
I'm sure you are going to be working on something(s) related to best-in-the-world firecrackers.  Enjoy the local cuisine.

It was easily the best brisket I've cooked.  Everything just came together beautifully .Even my best food critics agreed. They asked why I couldn't do that every time.  Tried to explain that it's not a simple process like a butt or ribs.
Heh.  I have no problems with briskets at all, yet my ribs come out differently every single damn time....  :i_dunno:

Just FTC 4 butts for graduation party at 2.  What a ride, lit the grill last night at 10pm, set my new spider and rb combo, preheated at 250, butts on at 11pm.

I set the daisy wheel and bottom vent where I normally run it for 250, I however failed to realize the new set up would require a different airflow setting.  I stepped out at midnight before sleep and the grill was at 195, I figured ok put the blower to it and get it back. Did that came back at 1am and it was back down to 195. Ok blower and open vents a bit, came back out now 200.
Long story short by 2:45am I had the vents set for what would have been 350 with conveggtor and grate to achieve 245 with new rig.
Luckily they were in the stall from 5am till 8:30 I did check hourly but got some rest.
When I get fed up or moneyed up I will be asking for advice on a controller!

Will do.  I don’t know if you’re referencing the little place that’s in a remote corner of the base, but i’ve been there and it’s pretty good!

I hope you changed out of your business suit prior to welding. The sparks play heck with the wool.

There have been times when I wish I were a neighbor to all of you, but I think @nolaegghead gets the nod for who I most wish I was the neighbor of.   I’m sure that feels like a back handed compliment to him.  Haha.
