OT - What are you doing right now?

Lining up X and Y, some finishing pounds on a few firebricks.
Decided not to pour a footing, went 18". We'll see.
All that's left is the stone surround on sides and opposite end of the steel rod. I'll probably have enough $$$ in this when said and done to buy a large egg...but it will be another "happy place" to play on the fuego playground. And it will be transfer shovel friendly.

I drive a 79 Buick part of the way thru school. Had to put a quart in every time I started it for the last little bit. Had a hole in the oil pan.

I dug deep, deeper than anticipated. A couple of inches of paver gravel, a couple inches of sand, 1.25" paver thickness. Hoping the firebrick shields underneath.BrandonQuad Cities
