He could do that for the last year as long as I was with him. Now he'll be on his own.
Which is why he’ll do better.

Just sent an e-mail the local chief TV Weather guessers requesting they improve their level of detail in the forecasts for approaching fronts (with Tornado watches and strong winds).  Simple things like the direction of travel and ball-bark front speed.  I suggested they could get creative with providing the results of their independent calculations on air to help the viewer know when to expect what instead of a general "passing thru the viewing area between 7 PM and midnight."

I also noted that such a progressive and informative approach could lead to a reduction of eye-balls on the screen so I doubted such a change would happen.  Oh well-

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

During the whole weather debacle today they had a emergency warning talking over the meteorologist.... *beep beep beep* "there is a tornado warning for xxx county, this message presented to you by xxxx roofing, please tune into channel 4 for more information". I am on channel 4! and this recording played over and over and over. Does anyone tune into this that works at channel 4?!

The Atlanta airport?  When was the last time you were in it?  Were you blindfolded?

Newark is the worst airport I have ever been in.  Bus transfers in Heathrow suck too.

Don't tell your problems to people.  80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.

No I don’t.  But I almost never have to fly through any of those.  I fly through Atlanta frequently because it’s a Delta hub. I’m sure there are worse airports, but that doesn’t mean that Atlanta still doesn’t suck donkey balls.  Look, it’s one of the largest airports in the world.  Just the sheer volume of people alone makes it a miserable place to be for any extended period.

It’s the busiest f’ing airport in the world and you’re expecting a Deer Valley experience. C’mon.  It’s clean and reasonably efficient with good amenities.  Get back to me how Israel’s airport compares.  Hope the guns don’t make you nervous.
