I’ve had a couple pours of the two Bardstown offerings. The white label is a high rye mashbill and the dark label is a wheater. Both are good not great IMO. I’m todays market, they are a pretty good value at @$50. I think I like the wheater a little better but they are both enjoyable. They aren’t in the league with $100+ bottles but that’s to be expected. I’d buy again for sure. If you like wheated bourbon I’d definitely give the dark label a whirl. 🥃TechsasJim said:

@paqman - I like how you roll on this Saturday afternoon.Mother Nature is definitely in a "let's F with them mode." (All temps *F) in the past week the high temps were 70's-mid 80's, today high 50's with the low in the low 30's tonight. But living in the Ohio River valley that is the whip-saw norm.Summer (sustained) will be here soon, I hope.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

@lousubcap Same here, we came back from vacation (Mexico) two weeks ago to a freezing rain episode that knocked out the power grid and left us without power for almost 3 days. A few days later and out of sudden all the ice/snow is gone and almost 85F outside. It’s me, and yes worth it. Single barrel is great. Malted rye is unusual but also great. A single barrel store pick is about $75 MSRP
