This afternoon's blind tasting with my 34 yo son. Four different ryes. The Willets were 8 and 4 yo (L to R with them), Parker's Heritage 8 yo and the Michter's barrel strength age not disclosed, likely 5-7 yo.
The Willett 4 yo was the clear bottom feeder. The rest were quite comparable with the Willet 8 winning by a nose.
Pacing is the watchword for the remainder of the day given the early start.
Enjoy the weekend and especially Monday.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

@saluki2007 - I am a bit surprised that the Parker's flavour (nod) did not "jump off the page" but to me ryes have a narrower window of separation. No expert here by any stretch as it is all in what you enjoy.
