Local brewery to me. My chief of maintenance has a little brother that is their head of shipping. Beer at employee cost? Absolutely! Some are great, some not so much

Some scores today. First time seeing Basil’s 10 year in the wild. Passed on a bottle of the 3Floyds gumballhead whiskey. Probably going to regret that as they had two bottles left.

I tried the fusion series one during my last bourbon tasting and it was in my top 3. Looking forward to trying the other ones. My local Costco is currently carrying it for $50 or $55 a bottle as opposed to the other stores closer to $70.

Yeah, that's awesome. It's not impossible to find around here but definitely not easy. Definitely easier to find the Fusion than Discovery.

Nice to hear this. I think Basil Hayden gets a bit of a bad rep because it’s 80 proof. The whiskey snobs really gravitate towards the high proof stuff which is fine but not for everyone. I’m all for the maximum people enjoying whiskey. Enjoy!🥃

Basil Hayden Dark is one of my favorites. Very hard to get here but one of my favorites. This is the first time I’ve found the Toast. More of a Scotch drinker at heart.

Basil Hayden Dark is one of my favorites. Very hard to get here but one of my favorites. This is the first time I’ve found the Toast. More of a Scotch drinker at heart.

Now we’re talking. Scotch guy as well. I had some dark rye last week. Definitely unique. I’m sure I can get you Some if you’d like. I see it around. 

What’s you cup o tea in scotch? 

I’m a fan of dalmore, lagavulan ardbeg mccallan balvenie oban. I could go on

I like the Islay Scotches. I prefer Lagavulin but also enjoy all of the ones you list above. Talisker is a good one too.

Another heater. Distilled in California and barreled in Rockford IL. Double barreled, barrel proof. Not too shabby. Honey hole guy turned me on to it after he picked out some beer for my daughters BF. Cheers!🥃
