    My egg fire used up all fuel (full ash basket of Royal) overnight and don’t know whether to trash the pork shoulder or just continue the cook.  Using L BGE with egggenius set at 225 which held perfect from 7pm til 1:30am. Couldn’t believe it used all fuel and temp alarm didn’t go off. The internal meat temp had gotten to 156 and of course the graph shows temp got down to 107.  Discovered fire out at 5:30 am.  Should I continue the cook or trash the pork ? I got it going again but don’t know if it will be safe

    Built an add-on wing at a 45 degree angle for my existing table making space for my new Mini. Puts the grills on the same level and leaves all the table space I had before. I drilled holes in the mini nest and screwed to wing to keep it secure when partying.

    Beautiful ROMAs. No offense but if you want me to convert the 18 ROMAs I recommend in my pizza sauce recipe I will be glad to give you a weight. IOW your 18 count wouldn't work.

    Ron, hello my name is Richard Gruber and I am having a nightmare with the all my dry age bags along with the food saver 5860. I jumped in with $700 worth of meat and I desperately need your help. My user ID is Richard C. [email protected] and my telephone is 954-647-7777. I understand you had a post as to how to use the U my bag along with a sleeve from food saver. Currently I have the all my bag in a big food saver bag and I don’t think that is good.

      Forget needing a vacuum sealer AT ALL!!! But YES get that meat out of a Food Saver bag! All a Food Saver bag will do is make your meat rot!!! Just put your meat in a UMAi Dry Bag, squeeze out as much air as you can by pressing the bag against the meat and then seal the bag with a simple bread twisty!

      BTW it is 1:29AM here and the only reason I am still up is my 76 year old wife who suffers from dementia refuses to go upstairs to bed and I will not leave her down here...she could fall and who knows what that might mean - she broke her arm last year.
