Looking at the little packet of glaze mix that comes with the ham, I decided to add a 3 shots of bourbon and called it good.

    And it turned out Good

Doesn't look like much, but it was delicious. A simple steak sandwich. Made with ciabatta, smoked gouda, a homemade roasted garlic aioli and dressed arugula.

Friday through yesterday, we did a major deck repair, hosted an end of year event for my wife’s work and hosted a birthday party for my daughter’s friends. We are now set to host both my wife’s family and my own for my daughter’s family birthday party this aft.

When the dust settled last night, we took a breather to have sandwiches. Homemade bread, mayo, pickles, homemade grape hot sauce, Italian cold cuts, red onions and old cheddar. Lightly pan fried before adding tomato and lettuce. Served with Renee’s Mighty Caesar and ghost pepper sauce, for dipping.

That's the way to wind down after quite a run of activities.  Great looking!

I need some pulled pork for a Mother's Day recipe so it was time to smoke a butt. Nothing special, just a nice evening being able to be outside without 6 layers of clothing

You have really upped your photo game with that shot.  Nailed the pic and the cook.

'Pittsburgh' has been an ambition for a while, and on reflection I think I can give that a tick now.
    Moreover SWMBO loved it.
And again, waiting to eat it - even after the rest, brought great dividends to the flavour too.
Other girls may try to take me away

@CPFC1905 - a cook of beauty right there.  Great crust and nailed the finish.

No sir, a knock off Oneida pattern that my wife received for Mothers Day (from me and the kids) about 6-7 years ago. We often entertain so I got her 20- 5 piece settings plus the serving accoutrements
