Nachos, Flanders-style.
Just kidding.

I just legitimately told my wife her nacho consumption was “amazing to watch”. Surprisingly, I am still married. -

Sorry if this somehow comes up again, just seeing where I have permission to post. This was last night. Tri-tip and cheesy potatoes. Pre-cook.

We hosted a lunch for one group and hosted dinner for another today. Did not document either adequately.
Lunch was potato leek soup with a no knead bread (wife’s efforts). Sprinkled the soup with extra crispy bacon and chopped dill. Pineapple upside down cake for dessert. No plated pics of anything.

Dinner was sous vide filet Mignon, a scotch/pepper/cream sauce, roasted potato wedges, and sautéed asparagus. No pics. -
@GrateEggspectations. You could post an empty plate with a dirty fork and I would be convinced it was an awesome meal👏👏Greensboro North Carolina

Not cooking much as of late, but I didn't give up the habit of checking-in to the forum daily and enjoying the great cooks.
I can contribute today with this simple but delicious "risotto ai porcini" cooked by my son.
The best risotto variant out there in my opinion.

That looks great. Good to see you posting. Your son is obviously inheriting your culinary talents.Paolo said:Not cooking much as of late, but I didn't give up the habit of checking-in to the forum daily and enjoying the great cooks.

By the way, your Easter spread was epic. -
Rajma from an Indian Cookbook, Dishoom, I recently added to the collection. Pretty tasty. I think I caramelized the onions too long because the onion-tomato masala used as a base was sweeter than I like.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Cucumber, Garlic, and Tahini salad. It’s been a minute since I’ve made this, but still hits the spot.

You’re on a roll, @Ozzie_Isaac.

Turn some smoked beef cheeks into a homemade ragu that I used to make a lasagna.

Yes sir, @WestAusEgg. Way to jumpstart the day!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Six pack of Texas Twinkies with the requisite smoked cream cheese and brisket on the SBGE. One is a meal.

Gotta hit the local Mexican grocery store for good sized jalas.

Cosco arrachera, royal oak, PSWoo @ the felt line direct at 550-600. Added a dash of Mexican rice with smashed corn but I ate it all before photographing that stage. So simple, so delicious!
