    It may be ribeyes given the run on wings for the game.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    spares are on.  publix bogo!!!!  going dry rub. one meat church holy cow and other texas sugar.  

    they have a few spare rib methods on their site. various pull temps, rest or not, foil boat and sauce or not. 

    i cut the rips with a piece on top and also some mid-cook chefs treats from the trim. 

    having to cut a rib short of the hot spots is the only time i wish i had a primo xl or xl egg.  also this time in the first time i used a kingsford heavy duty foil. its wide enough to cover the entire drip pan.  no more “triple fold seam of two sheets that still leaks”

    Buffalo Wings, using Kenji's/Chef John's/STCG/others' baked/grilled crispy wings rub of 1:1:1 salt/cornstarch/baking powder.  I cut the salt 50% as I'd first marinated them in pickle juice 48 hours, but still too salty, will leave it out next time.  No pics but they passed the "Fork Don't Lie" test.
     
    I did learn something worth passing on, though.  The first two times I tried this rub the wing's texture was good but they had a slight metallic taste that wasn't good.  The first time I thought maybe I'd mistakenly grabbed the baking soda, so made sure it was bp the second time, still metallic.  I gave up on the rub until I saw somewhere that baking powder has a definite shelf life, and should be replaced yearly.  I checked mine, "Best if used by Aug 2002".  d'Oh!  Fresh BP and they came out great.

    What a lambasting.  I think Vegas won the most money with Eagles taking the SB.
    I couldn't believe the spread was so close ... but my goodness, I didn't think KC would crumble like this ... that was not a good SB.  The Bills vs. KC game was the best in post-season (and the Bills should have won that) ... Bills vs. Eagles would have been a much better match up.

    I will add to this. With all due respect If Tom Brady had spent a fraction of his time commentating on the game rather than talking about himself that would have helped and the halftime show was definitely not my cup of tea. I agree with Marks comments above🤐
