Since I mostly work 7 days a week, I loose track of the days of the week.  I was very excited to learn today is Friday!  Then disappointed to learn it is actually Wednesday.

but worth the emotional roller coaster because that above meme is hilarious!

You need to get an old-fashioned wrist watch and wear it.  The one style that has not only time but date AND day of the week.  I'm sure Rolex has one you can get.  Or you can shop here:   https://www.bobswatches.com/

I have a Tudor Ranger with no-date, so something like a Sky Dweller might be a necessity!

It really doesn’t matter what day it is until you someone asks you to “sign and date please” then it gets real.

Gotta bump if only because a lame evening here while addressing elder care (not mine) although a good primer.
Gotta grab another glass of brown water to temper the senses-SWMBO is on a rant.

  • Saw this today and it seemed relevant, given we had the warmest Halloween ever recorded in our city last night. 23.5C. Kinda crazy considering we’ll get a taste of -2C over the weekend.

(This should really go in WAYDRN thread, but it’s too late for me. Save yourselves.)

Just watched the new Netflix series on the 2004 Red Sox.  Heck of a ride for baseball fans.  Highly recommend.

Heard a new to me song by King Missile.  It was very strange.  First single off their 1992 album Happy Hour.

Around here, we call it Pâté Chinois (minus the green peas): Bottom layer of ground beef, corn, mashed potatoes.

I've got nothing for tonight other than the thread bump.  However, the Vote thread is doing quite well across the political divide.

How 'bout a fawnky-as-'ell version of "Use Me", by Esther Phillips, which I've never heard before.  The Dead Wax channel did an episode about it, her version came out the same year as Pick Withers, but didn't have that signature Clav line.  Sooo in-the-pocket!
