I have absolutely no need for these, and yet I want them. I have spent more than a $1.89 thinking about them.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

*sigh*
Best $4 I’ve spent in a while. Quite solid, nil flex at the tips, and no annoying locking doodad. The splay is considerably less than a set of Oxo tongs I’ve had for some time.

the spring on one of my extremely old galvanized pair that looks like these gave up a few weeks back, wonder if the spring on this new one fits.....im guessing the ones i have are from the 1950's. amazes me how rugged they have been over the years, i dont want to replace them

That's a good deal, but these are my favorites: https://www.amazon.com/Norpro-NOR-1961-Deluxe-Locking-Tong/dp/B000U5SMK0
You can lock and unlock then one handed -
The 12" that can be locked/unlocked with one hand is my favourite too, for cooking. However, these 9" ones being discussed are meant for serving.stlcharcoal said:That's a good deal, but these are my favorites: https://www.amazon.com/Norpro-NOR-1961-Deluxe-Locking-Tong/dp/B000U5SMK0
