My friend who has some needs ended up taking me to a Twins game this evening. I didn't look at where the tickets were but they were gifted to him. My friends mom said that I might want to put the address in my GPS to figure out where the valet parking is. Huh? Valet? They're going to valet my old beater Ford Ranger? Yes!!!
So we make it down to the valet parking at Target Field and I jump out of my truck and pound the hood of my truck a couple times and tell the valet I want it parked front and center! The valet worker laughed.
The tickets were "Champion Club" which includes their 5-star dinning. Who was I to complain. I did some damage:
My friend completely failed with his dinner selection!
Plus a plain hotdog with no toppings. He was happy as all get out!!!
I took it all in as I don't know how often I'll get the chance to do this again.
Plus the Twins put up a W. I can't say that has happened too much this season. Fun time had by all!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Had a few friends over and made some chipotle shrimp and sweet potato tacos. No pics, but they were great and easy. https://www.ricardocuisine.com/en/recipes/6688-chipotle-shrimp-and-sweet-potato-tacosDessert was donuts brought over from a local bakery.

Making some maple bacon with some of the SRF pork belly. Just using the recipe on AmazingRibs.com. I’ve used it before, this comes out great.

Our Kenmore Elite went out right when the lockdowns started and we had to get what they had in stock once everything re-opened. Didn't break the bank obviously and the only way I know it is running is because of the little light. lol"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Recovering from Saturday, we did serve a little over 250 people Brisket , Pork and Greek Chicken Sliders, smoked mac and cheese, greek tortellini salad, French Fries and Roasted Veggies .
Started cooking on Wednesday finished all up Sat about noon for transport to the venue, cooked on site the fries and veggies, prepped about 375 sliders an hour before serving, the rest were prepped as others being served. 5 People on the serving line, 3 for prep and staging, did it all in about 45 minutes. Saturday was about an 18 hour day and all I got was a couple pictures of the serving table before starting LoL
This was my last wedding, I am sticking with community events and pop-ups moving forward

Figuring out something to do for Lady BattleBorn. She just accepted an offer at a new job working with veterans and she is super excited about it. She was unfulfilled at her job and wanted to do something that she felt made a difference. Super excited for her in this new role.Las Vegas, NV

Congrats to her for taking the challenge to move out of her unfulfilling comfort zone. Hopefully her new job exceeds her expectations.
