@ColtsFan it must have been a hell of a storm, I have been hearing about it ever since I moved to Ohio.ColtsFan said:

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

I am totally impressed with Tom Brady and the Bucs in the first half of the NFC Title game. Like him or loathe him, what a performance.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

I took TB +150 on the ML. After half I would think that bet was safe against anyone other than A-Aron. GB now has a chance to get right back in it.lousubcap said:I am totally impressed with Tom Brady and the Bucs in the first half of the NFC Title game. Killens rub finished first.

Forgot to mention, but I was out of homemade bbq sauce. This is instead a pineapple glaze of sorts.
And this was the bright, bright backyard with all of the reflecting snow.

Can we hear more about that. That sounds like it would be great on all things pork.GrateEggspectations said:Forgot to mention, but I was out of homemade bbq sauce. This is instead a pineapple glaze of sorts.

Simple and fantastic. Will do again. Didn’t miss bbq sauce at all. The pineapple shone through. https://www.mustlovehome.com/fresh-homemade-pineapple-sauce/Battleborn said:

Deconstructed a semi-thawed turkey and harvested:
1) carcass, neck, wings and butt for broth
2) giblets for quick soup
3) several packs of ground gobbler

@ColtsFan - I was in Greencastle, IN during the blizzard of '78 - tons of snow and cold. Driving was impossible. A week later I drove to Bowling Green, OH and it was like driving with white walls of snow on both sides of the highway the entire trip. Have never seen a worse snow fall since...XL and Small BGEs in South Carolina

watched a neighbors house get sucked out to sea on tv during the blizzard of 78. only about 30 inches snow not counting the drifts but the storm surge was nuts. one wave loosened it, it slid out to sea with the next wave. the storm packed an ice wall infront of our house maybe 8 foot high

Dealing with an ice storm. Limbs are starting to crack. Quickly approaching 1/4'' of ice. Temp is right at 31.5*

Finished first round of shoveling, 2nd round will be later in the morning tomorrow. Around a foot on the ground, 2-3 more inches likely. Unusual for that much snow, at one time, in Lincoln, NE area. Had to clear a path off the patio for the very senior beagle. The intrepid, still senior but less so, beag below is having fun just barreling through.
