    As much as it kills me to admit this as a  Carolina fan. Coach K is one of the nicest people I have ever met and maybe the best BB coach of all time.

    Read it.  I've enjoyed (and have had total PTSD) reading Dr Jeff Master's articles/blogs through the year.

    We get PTSD from riding out Katrina whenever this crap hits us.  Relatively small town and you know lots of people having lived here for decades and I always know someone that gets the proverbial shaft from mother nature during these abhorrent weather events. 

    That said, we are as prepared as one can be and can't wait to put this week behind us.

    I picked up 4 handles of Evan Williams at Dornignacs Grocery and some other provisions today.  Weird seeing all the abandoned cars that got flooded out and dirt all over the roads from water.  The neutral ground in my hood is covered with cars looking for high ground.  I don't think we're going to get any serious rain until Friday or Sat, so I just parked on the street tonight.

    For now.

    Look, I have tried to hate him for most of my life and probably all of yours but the fact is he is an amazing coach. There are many in the sports world that say he is the goat. Make your case for some one else...

    As for soccer evaluations, I’m not sure your appeal to ESPN as an authority on the topic has much value here.  It’s clear she was central to the US’s World Cup run, and she received what is effectively the MVP award.  That’s good enough for me.  I think we should all be happy to celebrate her and the team’s considerable athletic achievement and be proud of them and our country.  TIA.

    That pic I posted from the NY Daily News is not a pic of a "Trump bashing moment".  It's a pic from their parade in NYC yesterday.   If you view the headline as bashing Trump rather than a simple play on his favorite slogan then you might want to seek therapy.
