Turbo butt, its been a bit since I did any larger cuts. Time to slow down and decompress. That’s the plan anyway.

It’s funny. I cooked for the last few days. I’ll coast through today and tomorrow on leftovers. Brisket and turkey tacos. I’m playing with making “fried” hand pies in the oven - so I will be cooking. I’ll also be drinking. Happy 4th y’all.

Nice example @lousubcap -- I need to give of myself like that much more often, so easy and such a nice gesture. Cheers

Keeping it simple at Casa Teefus. BBQ Chicken (breast’s and thighs) cooked falling apart done with lots of caramelized sauce, tater salad, and corn on the cob. Peach iced tea to wash it down. A couple fingers of bourbon for desert, followed by a nap.

    Happy 4th everyone!
Brunch was peach/blueberry pancakes and bacon on the griddle.

Then dinner was dogs, brats, and burgers on my old broke down Weber:

The dog kinda reminded me of the Sandy’s hot dogs we used to get in Columbia, SC. Used to throw back some slaw dogs with cheese! Planned for leftover bacon from breakfast for the burgers. Buns toasted on the griddle...

Its been a rainy rainy afternoon here on the Crystal Coast. Getting ready to find some fireworks at the Bogue pier; hopefully the rain will hold off.
